"Are you sure you don't want to talk about this?" Camille asked Marcus as the two climbed out of the hold.

Two days ago, the storm had cleared and the crew was now preparing to land on an island they had found in search for food to replenish their supplies. Camille was attempting to get Marcus to talk about the dream they had apparently shared three nights ago.

"Look Camille," Marcus turned on her a lot harder than he intended. "It's my past, not yours. I know we're connected somehow, but that doesn't make these dreams something you should worry about.

"All my life, things have been a mess. If high grades don't satisfy my parents, then what will? And why are there so many problems everywhere I go? My parents, these dreams. If I can't solve them, then why am I even here? I'm sorry Camille, I, I just don't belong here."

"Marcus," Camille sighed sadly, "oh Marcus, please don't give up."

Marcus turned to walk off, "I don't need your help, Camille. Leave me alone." With that, he left with angry frustration evident in his steps.

A tear slid down her face as Camille watched Marcus get into one of the boats. "Oh Marcus, how am I going to help you?"

Camille walked to the boat opposite of the one Marcus was in and joined her friends inside. Slowly they headed towards the island.

"I doubt the lords stopped here, my liege." Reep called from the other boat. "There's no sign of anything living."

Up in front of their boat, Lucy sat with Eustace. Caspian and Edmund were at the oars with two other men and Camille sat in the back.

"Right. Well, once we're ashore, take your men and search for food and water. The four of us will search for clues."

"Hang on, you mean the five of us," Eustace spoke up.

Everyone in the boat looked at Eustace.

"Come on, please don't send me back to that rat." Eustace complained.

"I heard that," Reep called from the bow of the other boat.

Eustace just ignored him. "Big ears," he mumbled.

"I heard that too!" Reep called again, making everyone in the boat but Eustace smile.

Caspian shared a smirk with Edmund behind him. This kid was amusing.

Once they had reached land, everyone jumped out and the men started unloading the crates they had brought with them.

Camille stepped out of the boat and trudged across the sandy shore. Her steps were heavy. She was still worried about what had happened back on the Dawn Treader. Why did nothing make sense and why was something telling her that her dreams really were real? Yes dreams may seem real, but Camille's gave her the sense that they were actually real.

Suddenly a hand grasped her wrist desperately. "Please Camille," her brother pleaded, pulling her towards himself. "Please tell me what's wrong. You've been quiet ever since the storm stopped."

Caspian released his hold on Camille's wrist and squeezed her shoulders. "If it's anything bad, tell me. We're family, right?"

Camille sighed and glanced over at Pearl as the horse landed next to the crew to help them with the crates. She recalled what Pearl had said the night she had woken up.

"Was it one of those nightmares of us, again?"

Camille just looked at the ground.

"Camille," Caspian spoke gently, trying to reassure her. "I promise I would never try to hurt you. Believe me, they're just nightmares."
