The whole crew stood on the main deck of the Dawn Treader while the royals stood on the poop deck, everyone gazing upon the evil of Dark Island.
Camille stood next to Caspian who had his arm around her. To their left, Lucy stood, fear slightly showing in her eyes while Edmund nervously glanced at Caspian. Just behind, stood Travros and Marcus. Camille thought Marcus looked like a statue for he stood rigid, his gaze and facial expression showing absolutely nothing, like a door was slammed shut inside.
"So what do you think is in there?" Travros asked.
"Our worst nightmares," Edmund spoke up.
Camille shuddered, frightened. This may be the beginning of her nightmares.
"Our darkness wishes," Caspian added, tightening his grip on Camille.
"Pure evil," Drinian summed up.
"Travros," Camille dared to speak up. "Unlock the armory."
Travros gave a little bow. "Your Highness."
"Archers! Prepare yourselves!" Drinian yelled down to the men below.
"Aye, Captain!"
"Light the lanterns!"
Caspian turned to the Pevensies and Camille and Marcus. "Let's get ready."

Camille stood in a cabin in the hold of the ship. She wore a dark green dress much like the one she had worn long ago, on the night of the raid on Miraz's castle.
Camille's armor
Inside was a small table and a single bed with a full body mirror beside it. Standing next to the mirror, was Marcus, who fidgeted with his arm guards nervously. Camille was about to attach her sword belt around her waist when she heard a loud clatter of metal from behind. She turned and saw it was Marcus's arm guard. Guess he's a little nervous. Camille thought.
"Here let me help you with that," Camille offered, stepping towards him.
Marcus heaved a sigh as she picked up the guard and took his arm to attach it.
"Something wrong?" Camille asked, not looking up from what her hands were doing.
"How, how is one to fight in a battle like this? I mean, I, um..., I've never been in a real battle before."
At this, Camille looked up at him. "Just put into practice what you know of sword fighting and believe Aslan."
Camille finished buckling his arm guard and went to the bedside to get his weapon.
Marcus sighed again, "That's just it, how can I face it? Dark Island, I mean. Do you think Lilliandil is right, about my connection to the Double Blade?"
