Noella's POV
I quietly walked down the hallway. I just wanted this day to be over.
"Hey, what happened? You seem upset." The guy who got kicked out along with me, asked and followed me. "I am sorry; you got kicked out because of me. It was my fault all the way." I replied, feeling guilty that his day got ruined because of me.
"It's completely fine; literature bores me anyway." He replied with a cringed face. "Although, I was curious about why you laughed? You think I am funny, don't you? I know that. Thank you very much." He smirked.
I just laughed so hard. "A-Anyone w-who says that i-isn't funny a-at all" I tried to reply in between my laugh. He rolled his eyes which made me laugh even more. "Are you done?" he asked, raising one of his eyebrows. He is definitely funny I thought, still chuckling.
"I am so sorry, but wasn't just able to contain it." I said grinning. "So are you going to answer my question?" he asked smiling and shook his head.
I did not realize that we were already out in campus. I saw a bench and took a seat on it. He followed my action and sat beside me.
"Well, I arrive late to every place, no matter how early I depart from my home. Even today I arrived late to class, just a couple minutes before you entered the class. So by looking at you, enter the class late, I just thought that maybe I am not the only species that arrives late, you know." I explained sheepishly.
"You look at me and that's the first thought you get? I am disappointed." He said, faking a sad face. I smiled, shaking my head.
"I am actually always on time, for your information. It's just that I bumped into someone and all their books fell down. I had to help them pick it up. You know, basic manners." He grinned.
"Wasn't that kind of a movie type scenario? I mean now you will ask that girl out, then you both will start dating, blah blah." I laughed, imagining the scenario.
"Whoa whoa! Hold it there! So stereotypical." he rolled his eyes. "And anyways, First of all, unfortunately, it was guy, not a girl." He sighed. "Secondly, I am not the guy who just goes around dating every girl I meet. Of course, you can be an exception." He said, winking. Is this guy for real?
"You're flirting and saying that you don't go dating around. Ironic, isn't it?" I said rolling my eyes. He just laughed it off.
"I am Spencer Marks, by the way." He introduced himself by extending his hand towards me. "Noella Garnet." I replied, taking his hand. "Yeah, got your name in the class." He said chuckling. "Oh don't remind me about that." I said placing my hand on my forehead. He laughed at my action.
"Well, I should get going. It was nice meeting you Spencer." I smiled and got up from the bench. "Yeah, don't be late." He chuckled. I rolled my eyes, smiling. "See you around, Late princess." He waved grinning. "Whatever you say, Ironic Flirter." I said chuckling and was on my way to the next class.

I was sitting there dreaded. Thankfully, this was the last class. I was just waiting for this class to end so that I could just go back home and get some sleep.
After a few minutes, we were done for the day and I sighed in relief. 'Finally!' I thought, smiling. I grabbed my bag and headed out of the class. So much for first day!
As I was heading towards the campus, a guy approached me. "Hey there." He said, smirking. I was getting bad vibes from this guy.
"Can I help you?" I asked suspiciously. "Yes, you certainly can, by coming with me." He said smirking. He looked behind and which possibly looked liked his friends were laughing. He grinned at them and again looked at me. He caught me off guard, when he suddenly grabbed my hand. I aggressively tried to free my hand, but his hold only got stronger. I glared at him. "Listen I-"
"Hey pretty boy!" a girl came in between us and placed her hands on his chest.
She had tattoos covering her lower arm. She was wearing black shorts and a white crop top. She held this personality of a bad ass bitch, one you didn't wanted to mess with.
"Want to know something?" she asked in a flirty voice, chewing her gum.
"What would you like me to know about, babe?" he asked, kissing her knuckles.
"Your face won't be so pretty when it meets my fist. So you better get the hell out of here. Now." She hissed.
His eyes got widened with shock, as he probably didn't expect those words out her mouth. Heck, even I didn't expect that! He just looked so embarrassed, he left the place on the spot.
I couldn't do anything but to just laugh out loud clutching my stomach. She joined me too.
"You should've seen his face." I said in between my laughs. "I know, right!" she replied laughing.
"Thank you...""Juliette, gosh I hate that name. No worries." She said smiling. "No, really thank you. I owe you. And what's wrong with your name? It's beautiful." I smiled.
"That's what I keep saying to her" a male voice interrupted us. "But she is always denying that, saying it sounds like a 20's name." he said kissing her. She kissed him back. And...I was standing there awkwardly. Umm...
"I am sorry, got carried away by this idiot," Juliette broke their kiss and frowned playfully at him. "But I did not get your name." She added. "I am Noella." I replied smiling.
"Noella, meet my boyfriend Eric." She said gesturing towards him. "And this my bad ass girlfriend." He said chuckling.
"Yep, I can tell that by the incident that took place just a few seconds ago." I laughed, remembering it. "What incident?" he asked worriedly. "Nothing serious, I'll tell you afterwards." Juliette assured him.
"Noella, can you join us in the party tonight? Eric is hosting a small one at his home, with all of our high school friends. You know, kind of a reunion, right?" She grinned by looking at Eric.
What will I do in between their high school friends? Wouldn't it be awkward? Plus I just met them.
"Um... I am not sure..." I replied hesitantly. "Please? I would be really happy if you joined us. And it would be a great way to get know each other. Please?" She begged by clasping both of her hands together and looked at me with puppy eyes. "Yeah please join us." Eric spoke.
"Um, okay. If you say so. I'll be there." I smiled. What could go wrong anyway, right? I could make some friends in that way. "Great then. Let's exchange numbers, so that I can text you the address and time." Juliette said excitedly.
I nodded and put my number in her phone. She did the same. "It was nice meeting you Noella, see you at the party." Eric said, smiling. "Yeah, see you soon, girl." Juliette grinned widely and hugged me. I hugged her back. 'She is one of a kind' I thought to myself and smiled.
After that we were on our way. I hired a taxi and informed him about the address. As I arrived at my destination, I climbed out of the taxi and paid the driver.
I was nearing the house, when I felt someone following me. I turned around but there was no one. I thought that I was being delusional and continued walking.
I reached home and as I was about to ring the bell, my phone went off. I checked it and saw that I had received a message from an unknown number.
'You are under my surveillance now. There's no escaping from me, Love.' The message read.
