Chapter 14: Weekend Getaway Plans

Noella's POV

*1 week later*

"Oh my freaking god! That was one of the best presentations I have ever given Ryan! God I was so nervous back there, but I guess we kicked some asses in there didn't we?" I laughed and exited the class with Ryan.

Thanks to all our efforts, it led to best outcome. It was the last lecture for the day.

It was going to be a long weekend, as 4th of July was on Saturday and it was Thursday today. 3 days of holiday being a great way to relax all day in your room!

"We certainly did. Good job."

"You too."

"So any plans for the weekend?" He asked.

"If watching Netflix and being on the bed all day sounds like a plan, then sure I have a plan."

He chuckled at my response.

"Alright then, enjoy your 'plans'. See you on Monday."

We laughed and bid our farewells.

As I got to the campus garden, my phone rang. I looked up at the ID and saw Violet's name flash on my screen.

"Hey Chipmunk! Sorry I was not able to call you this week, I got busy with college work." I said in an apologizing tone.

We did contact each other weekly. But with the project work in my hands, I was unable to contact her.

"No problem. Someone has to compromise right?"

I laughed at her sarcastic response. Violet and her sarcastic comebacks!

"How did your presentation go anyway?" She asked.

"Oh it went so well! You should've been here. You would've said these words, 'Oh my god, Ella! You were so awesome out there! I am proud of you girl!' "

"Exaggerating again I see! But I am sure it went well. I am happy for you."  She chuckled.

"Ouch Vi! That hurt. You have left a non-repairable pain in me!" I faked my sadness.

"Stop with your drama already Ella, please! It's getting out of control day by day!"

Her remark made me giggle. Yeah I have to admit, I can be dramatic from time to time.

"Can I join you in the laughter too? It's been a monotonous day. I could use some laugh to improve my mood."

Not only her voice but from appearance too, Juliette looked very tired. I guess from all the lectures she had to attend. And I can really understand. College lectures can be very heavy on you, I swear.

"And who are you talking with on the phone?" She continued and pulled her  blonde hair into a bun.

"Is that Juliette?" Violet spoke.

"Yeah, want to talk?" I asked, smiling.

"Please!" She said excitedly and I handed my phone over to Juliette.

She looked puzzled with this action.

"It's Violet." I stated and she immediately grabbed the phone from my hand.

"Really?" "Hey Vi! It's been 2 freaking weeks girl! How are you?" She started the conversation with Violet.

It's been a while since they became friends. And trust me when I say that they have grown very close.

I clearly remember the day when I was on video chat with Violet and Juliette entered my room. I introduced them to each other that day.

It was a bit awkward at first, but when they came to know about their mutual love for K-Pop and K-Drama, they haven't stopped talking.
