i can see it already.
a hug.
so tight, that you snap my ribs,
then my bones and all of the emotions i felt while you were goneall stab my heart at that exact moment
and i come undone from the inside
outand my tears stain your shirt,
and the words
"i love you, i love you"
stain the airand blood drips on the ground,
from the slashes
you left all over methat never quite healed right.
a puzzle,
put together all wrong,
coming undone at the hands
of the one who built it.becoming frustrated and forcing the bits together
even though the picture looked a little off,
it was the satisfaction
of having finished the puzzle
of millions of broken pieces
that all looked similar anyways
so who cared if a couple were wrong?a puzzle,
put together all wrong,
coming undone at the hands
of the one who built it.begging to be put back together
by the only one she has ever
loved that way before.and a promise,
from him,
to fix everything.to do it right this time.
