Chapter Three

Three months since the Tagaytay trip and they are constantly fucking. They never talked about that set up, it just happened and both of them seemed okay with it.

Nakalimutan niya ng inilalayo niya lang si Carson kay Adan o ginagawa niya iyon para sa kapatid niya. They clicked, they are connected and he really likes to have her around. She's her ball of sunshine and everything seems so easy with her.

Hindi niya alam kung ganoon din si Carson sa kanya, pero hindi naman na nila napag uusapan si Adan o si Pia so he guess they're okay with it.

He picked up Carson that afternoon. She's been so busy with the long hours of shift from the hospital where she's currently taking her OJT. She's a nursing student, maybe one of the reasons why she's so good at taking care of things.

"CJ!" Her eyes widened when she saw him walking towards her. Tumakbo si Carson papalapit sa kanya bago patalon siyang niyakap. Hindi pa ito nakuntento doon, she wrapped her legs around his torso and shower his face with kisses. He could only chuckled. "May usapan ba tayo?" Carson was all smiles. Wala na iyong lungkot sa mga mata nito hindi kagaya noon and he's happy to see her that way.

Bumaba si Carson mula sa kanya pagkatapos ay umabrisiyete sa braso niya. She's being clingy day by day and he kinda liked it.

"Wala." He put his hand on her shoulder. "Naisip ko lang baka pagod ka, I wanna pamper you. Tapos rerecharge kita, tutusok ko sayo yung charger ko." Sinabi niya iyon sabay kindat. Ang lakas ng tawa ni Carson.

"Sinasabi ko na nga ba." Pinisil nito ang ilong niya.

"Joke lang." He smiled. "I just really wanna pamper you."

"Tamang tama, I assisted at a ten hour surgery. I deserve the pampering." She winked at him and he felt his heart leaped but he just ingnored the feeling.

He take her to a spa. They had a massage together. Pagkatapos noon, dinala niya si Carson sa salon. He patiently waited for her, hindi naman bago sa kanya iyon. Jusmaine spent hours inside the salon and he used to patiently wait for her.

Ibang iba sila ni Carson. The girl have no idea what pampering really means. She said that the pampering she needed was tight hugs and stolen kisses. Tumawa lang siya, he realized, Carson is not a bad idea. Everything seems so light and bright with her and as much as he don't want to admit, he's better around her and he's gonna keep it that way, no matter what it takes.

He ask the stylist to get her hair a treatment, para mas lalong gumanda ang bagsak niyon. They gave her hair some volume and a color in it. Coffee brown suits her really well.

"Ganito mo ba ipamper ang mga babae mo?" Tanong ni Carson sa kanya habang binoblower ang buhok nito. Natawa naman ang dalawang stylist sa likod. "Siguro madami ka ng dinala dito."

"First time to." Pinandilatan niya si Carson ng mata, nakakahiya na kasi sa mga makakarinig, baka akalain na babaero siya. Hindi naman totoo iyon. Si Jusmaine lang kasi ang naging babae sa buhay niya.

Binayaran niya ang bill pagkatapos ay niyaya niya si Carson na manood ng sine. Hindi ito pumayag, she said she likes to drink beer as a celebration because she assisted her first ever surgery, and mind you, she's just an intern. Pangarap daw kasi talaga niyang maging surgeon, kaya lang wala silang pera para doon kaya nursing na lang.

He felt bad for her but his admiration only grew more. He took her to the BGC bar branch owned by his family, they own chains of bars and restaurants and the BGC branch was his favorite. He helped to developed that place, it was a branch asigned to him. It's his baby.

Binati sila ng crew. They occupied a seat near the window. Carson seemed satisfy with the view, she looked radiant.

He ordered diffirent kind of cheese, caviat and a bottle of wine since tonight's a celebration.

"Pang mayaman tayo ngayon ha? Achievement unlocked ka e." He winked at her. Carson just giggled.

They spend the nigt talking to each other. Hindi ata sila mauubusan ng pag-uusapan.

"I really wonder why your eyes are so sad when I first met you." She said that while looking straight to his eyes, her gazes penetrated his insides. "Can you tell me why?" She urged him to talk. She used her dreamy eyes on him, cajoling him to tell her everything that she wants to know.

Carson is a charmer. He just found himself confiding in her, telling her about his pain. About the past that he wants to forget, Jusmaine and his biggest regret of all-- hurting his mother.

Marahan lang na tumatangu-tango si Carson habang pinakikinggan siya. The glimmer in her eyes tell him that she's there, she's listening and she understands.

Wala itong sinabi. Bigla na lang itong tumayo at inilahad ang kamay sa harapan niya.

"Dance with me?" She giggled happily. Naiiling siya pero ngiting ngiti. Gustong gusto niya ang pakiramdam na iyon kapag kasama niya si Carson.

Leave Your Lover by Sam Smith played on the background. Nakakatawang isipin pero akma talaga iyon para sa kanilang dalawa. They are where they are now because he wants her to leave her lover.

They dance slowly in the slow beat of the music. The song was painful but Sam Smith's voice make it sound so romantic. Carson looked at him in the eye and smiled at him. He felt his heart melted again. Hindi na ata matatapos iyon sa tuwing tititigan siya ni Carson na para bang siya lang ang tao sa mundo nito.

"Masaya ako na hindi na malungkot ang mga mata mo kagaya noon." Her voice was gentle, it's soothing his aching soul. She trace the contour of his face and kissed him softly. "Pareho tayong malungkot ng magtagpo tayong dalawa, pero sana kagaya ng ginawa mo sa akin, ganoon din ang nagagawa ko sayo. You eased the pain away, CJ." His heart leaped. He likes it when she calls him CJ, mahaba daw kasi masyado ang Connor so abriviation na lang ng totoo niyang pangalan which is Connor Jeron.

"You didn't just ease the pain, Carson. You took it away." He kissed her like he never did before. It was passionate, sweet and slow. "Let's stick by making each other happy, baby."
