She can't believe what just happened. She only knew when she's just next to Joe and the next thing she sitting on the bench outside the principal's office.

Here's what happened.

Joe and Minhee were bickering to each other in the field of which cafeteria's food is the best. Until one of the cheerleaders started to disturb Minhee by purposely throwing a basketball at her head. Minhee didn't even flinch from the pain and turned to the girl. The girl faked an apology and Minhee just let it go.

But after a few minutes, she got hit in the head again. Joe got mad and yelled at the person, the girl earlier.

Then, recess came.

Minhee was enjoying her sandwich at one of the table while Joe go to the counter to get his meal.

And again, the cheerleaders came to disturb her by landing a slap on the face. The leader said that Minhee 'stole Joe away' from them and want to 'teach her a lesson'. She pulled Minhee up on her legs by pulling her hoodie. They started to drag her to the exit. The cheerleaders are taller than Minhee but Minhee was stronger. Minhee swing her hand and punched the leader. The students in the cafeteria gasped loudly. And the fight begin.

At the end, some of them were hospitalized.

Back to her situation, Minhee covered her head with her hoodie and played with her fingers since she was hella bored. Inside the principal's office were the parents of the cheerleaders. They were yelling at the principal to meet Minhee's parents. Minhee sighed. She doesn't have one. All she have is her caretaker aka Mr. Totoro.

Minhee thought that this mysterious mafia gang won't show up at school, her school.

Then, the door opened revealing the secretary. Minhee stood up.

"Minhee, you can go home."

Minhee raised her eyebrows.

"Won't I get suspended?"

"Not for now. The principal knew you don't have any parents so he let you go for now."

"Oh."

Minhee lowered her head in mid way.

"Then, I'll go home first, thank you miss."

"You're welcome."

Minhee turned her heels and started to walked away.

She spotted Joe from afar, leaning to the lockers while playing with his phone. His head shot up when he heard Minhee's footsteps.

"So how was it?"

"I didn't get any punishment."

"Really? After all that beatings? Lucky."

"Yeah. Let's go."

The two started to walk down the hallway and to the entrance. Out of nowhere, two guys walk passed them. Minhee glanced at them and bowed showing respect, so does Joe.

Minhee looked at them. They seem to go to the office. But she shrugged, thinking maybe some workers in the school.
