Lizzie's POV: My heart clenched painfully as tears streamed down my face. Looking up at the night sky, I rocked back and forth as I rubbed Josie's back soothingly. Closing my eyes, I listened to Josie's breathing as she continued to sob violently. Laying my head on top of hers, I hummed softly as I felt her body slowly relax. Closing my eyes, I began singing the song that mom would always sing to us when we were little as memories quickly filled my mind.

"I never thought that you would be the one to hold my heart. But you came around and you knocked me off the ground from the start", I whispered.

"Jodie! Jodie", I giggled, running through the house. I can't wait to tell her about the butterfly I saw outside. I jumped as a pair of shoes stepped out in front of me, causing me to slid to a halt. Pouting slightly, I looked up into mommy's amused eyes as she smiled softly.

"It's Josie, honey", mom corrected, causing me to frown in confusion.

"What about her", I frowned, causing her to chuckle lightly.

"Lizzie", Josie called, rubbing her eyes tiredly as she walked into the hall.

"Jodie, you have to see dis", I grinned, taking her hand as mommy shook her head with a small laugh.

"You put your arms around me and I believe that it's easier for you to let go. You put your arms around me and I'm home", I hummed, hearing Josie's breathing slowly begin to even out.

"Daddy", I squealed, running into his arms as he walked in from work.

"Hey, baby", he smiled as I heard hurried footsteps running across the floor before Josie barreled into daddy's legs, causing me to giggle.

"Daddy, you're home", she grinned.

"Where's mommy", he asked us as Josie pointed toward the bedroom.

"How many times will I let you change my mind and turn around. I can't decide if I'll let you save my life or if I'll drown", I sang quietly.

"Mama! I did it", Josie cheered as she handed her the bowl.

"Very good, Josie", Mommy complimented as she tasted the dish with a smile.

"Mama, I can't do it", I whined as I gazed down at the bowl of...I'm not sure what's it is. It's supposed to be oatmeal, but I'm not sure oatmeal is supposed to be green.

"I'm sure you did great, sweetie", she assured, dipping her spoon into the green liquid and shoving it into her mouth with a smile. Watching her face twitch, I smiled to myself as she held up two thumbs up. "Mmm, it's very...unique", she smiled as I grinned in satisfaction. "How about we clean this mess up, and we...", she trailed off. "And we...", she frowned before collapsing to the ground as my eyes widened in horror.

"Mama", Josie screamed, jumping from her chair as she bent down beside her worriedly.

"Daddy! Daddy, something's wrong", I shouted, kneeling beside her tearfully. Oh God, did I do this? "Mama? Mama, wake up", I pleaded, shaking her shoulder as dad ran into the kitchen.

"What the hell", he exclaimed, dropping down beside her.

"She was fine, a-and then she just fell", Josie cried.

"I hope that you can see right through my walls. I hope that you catch me, cause I'm already falling. I'll never a love get so close. You put your arms around me and I'm home", I sniffed, closing my eyes tearfully.

"Lizzie, honey", mama called, walking into the room. "There you are", she smiled as I looked up from my drawing. I didn't want to admit it, but I've avoiding her ever since we got back from the doctor yesterday. "What are you working on", she asked, sitting down beside me as I moved away from her. "Honey, what's wrong", she frowned in concern, placing a hand on my shoulder as I shrugged her off harshly.
