Lizzie's POV: I danced around freely, causing Hope laughed slightly. Who knew the princess could actually have fun? My eyes lit up as she sway to the music, causing my heart to flutter. She looks so carefree. Like she doesn't have the weight of the world on her shoulders. She grabbed my hand, spinning me around with a small laugh, before pausing. "Hope, what's wrong", I asked her breathlessly.

"This...this is wrong", she told me.

"Wrong", I frowned. "I thought we were having fun", I asked her in confusion.

"We're leaving", she told me sternly before grabbing my arm and pulling me off to the side to grab the bags of clothes.

"Wait, why are we leaving", I asked. "Stop for a moment", I pleaded, as she continued dragging me from the party. "Did I do something wrong", I asked before she quickly got on her horse.

"Get on", she commanded.

"What? No, what about the other one", I questioned, gesturing toward the horse behind me. We can't just leave him out here.

"I've have one of my guys pick him up tomorrow", she said, waving me off. "Now come on. We're going home", she said, holding my hand out.

"No", I stated stubbornly.

"No", she scoffed.

"That place isn't my home, Hope", I pointed out. "I didn't choose to be here. I didn't choose you", I told her angrily.

"Lizzie, quit being so stubborn and let's go", she said, rolling her eyes.

"See? That's what I'm talking about", I pointed out. "We were having actual fun back there, and then it's like...", I exclaimed, looking for the right words. "It's like you're a completely different person", I yelled.

"So this is my fault", she asked. "You think I chose this", she glared. "I didn't choose any of this", she fumed. "I didn't choose to be born a Princess. To have my father so busy with his work that he sometimes forget he even has a daughter. To have a assassin come into MY kingdom and kill my mother", she yelled at me, causing me to look down guiltily.

She's right whether she knows it or not. We do have different life styles. I'm just a stupid peasant to her. A street rat. If she knew who I really was...she would think I was disgusting, or needed to be hanged like our Uncle Kai. Who am I kidding? This life...this place is not mine. I don't belong here. I should be back home talking to Dr. Williams about the hospital bill not waltzing around in the castle. I want to go home. I want...I want my mom...

"And I sure as hell didn't choose to be married to such a insane lunatic", I heard her yell, causing my head to shoot up in shock. "Now, come on. We're leaving", she told me firmly.

I wrapped my arms around myself as she held her hand out again, causing me to I backed away from her tearfully. "Fine. Stay out here", she glared. "Go back to your stupid party, and dance with those revolting peasant", she spat out, causing me to close my eyes as my heart clenched painfully. "Just don't expect me to be waiting on you when you return", she told me. "In fact, I hope you don't come back. Life in the castle was so much better before you showed up", she seethed before riding off.

I watched her disappear as the tears dripped down my face, causing me to swallow thickly. I closed my eyes, trying to catch my breath as her words echoed around my head, causing my body to shake violently. "Well, aren't you a pretty thing", someone said, causing me to jump back in alarm.

"W-who are you", I asked them.

"The name is Rafael, my lady", he said with a slight bow, causing me to frown. "What is someone like you doing out here all by yourself", he asked me.
