Lizzie's POV: I looked around the room in amazement as Josie sat on the bed almost hesitantly. "Oh my gosh", she moaned, laying down across the mattress. "Lizzie, you have got to try this", she said, waving me over as I looked it over curiously. Sitting down, I smiled to myself as I felt my body sink into the mattress.

"It's like sitting on a fluffy cloud", I grinned, causing her to giggle.

"Well, you might want to get used to it", she teased, causing me to smack her arm.

"How about we talk about what you did in that throne room yesterday", I smirked, causing her eyes to widened.

"How bad was it", she cringed.

"It was...definitely interesting", I laughed, causing her to send me a glare. "Why are you looking at me like that? You're the one who practically insulted not only me but the king and queen", I snickered, causing her eyes to widen.

"I didn't", she gaped before wincing as she thought it over. "What exactly did I say", she questioned.

"I think it was something along the lines of: 'the king screwing me in the throne room to show his wife what she was missing", I explained, trying to hide the slight disgust and embarrassment in my voice, but from the guilty expression on her face, I didn't do a very good job. "And that was just what I caught when I walked in", I said, watching her face pale.

"I think I'm gonna be sick", she muttered before quickly snatching up a sheet of paper and hurrying from the room. "I'm gonna go...find the kitchen", she said, rushing out the door as I tried to rid my brain of the conversation that I walked in on. Not a good impression on the King and Queen Of Light. Shuddering in disgust, I quickly got up from my seat and left the room.

Hope's POV: I rubbed my temples as I finally flopped down onto my bed exhaustively. Today was...rough to say the least. Turning over, I stared up at my mother's painting sadly. Today would be three years since she's passed. All I wanted to do was curl up in bed and cry the whole day, but my dreams of a quiet afternoon was shattered when I noticed a blonde staring at me in the corner of the room.

I jumped up in alarm before relaxing when I realized that it was only Lizzie Salvatore. "What are you doing in here", I glared angrily. "Don't you know it's rude to enter a lady's bedchambers without permission", I questioned.

"Good idea. Have you seen one", she asked, rolling her eyes, sitting down next to me. "I thought that since we are getting married that we should at least get to know each other", she offered.

"Pass", I told her boredly.

"You know for a Princess Of Darkness, you sure act the part", she commented.

"Did you just come here to insult me", I asked in annoyance.

"Why are you up here by yourself anyway", she asked, tilting her head like a curious puppy. My eyes went back to my mother's painting before she followed my eyes. "Is that your mom", she asked.

"Yeah...", I nodded, gripping the sheets firmly.

"You look a lot alike", she told me.

"You need you leave", I told her, getting to my feet as I walked her toward the door before slamming the door in her face.

Lizzie's POV: Closing the door behind me, I paused as I spotted Josie looking around the room awkwardly, unsure about what to do. "Hey", I said, clearing my throat as she jumped slightly. "How was...how was your day", I asked as she gave me an anxious smile.

"Good", she said lightly, causing me to look her over strangely.

"You must really like...cleaning", I said in confusion as her face flushed.

"How was your day with Hope", she asked, eager to change the subject as she opened up the closet. "Wow", she whispered, taking out a silk nightgown before throwing one to me as I looked it over.

"Not bad", I admitted, slipping on the material before pulling the blankets back and sliding into bed.

"Oh...I'm sorry", she frowned, turning off the light and climbing in next to me.

"You can't have everything right", I sighed, turning over tiredly as she curled into my side.

"I'm really sorry about...the throne room", she apologized.

"Josie, it's fine", I assured. "That wasn't you in there", I reminded. "And...although your freakishly evil alter-ego hates everyone around you, just remember that I love you. All of you", I smiled as she hugged me tearfully.

"Thank you", she whispered as I snuggled under the covers and wrapped my arms around her securely.
