Hope's POV: I shook my head, following the blonde out of the store with bags of clothes in each hand. I don't understand this girl. She insults the king. She likes peasants. She has absolutely no manners. She doesn't like wearing dresses. It just makes no sense to me. She don't act right. She doesn't...she doesn't act like any princess I've ever seen.
Maybe I'm just judging her too fast. Things are bound to be different in the kingdom of light...right? I paused outside as I spotted Lizzie dancing around and laughing with a crowd of people. What the...
I looked around with a frown as a small band played music. "What are you waiting for", Lizzie shouted over the crowd of people. "Come on", she giggled, running toward me and grabbing my hands. "Let's dance", she said, pulling me into the crowd as I dropped the bags onto the ground.
"I don't understand...", I frowned, looking around me in confusion. "How would one dance to this", I asked her curiously.
"You act like you've never been to a party before", she laughed.
"This isn't a party", I chuckled. "Where's the fancy gowns, the ballroom", I questioned.
"Not that kind of party. This is more...fun", she grinned, dancing around me.
"But...this has never happened in the Kingdom", I explained worriedly. "How do I act? What do I do", I asked in a hushed tone.
"Have fun", she said, tugging on my arms.
"But...I don't know the dance", I whispered.
"Just let go", she explained, moving to the beat.

Josie's POV: After getting Pedro a sitter, I dragged Penelope out to the party as she continued asking questions about whether she should dress up or not. "Just come on", I urged, pulling her toward a crowd of people.
"Wait, did something happen", she asked, looking around worriedly.
"No. Why", I asked.
"Then why are all these people here, and...why are they dancing", she frowned.
"They're having fun. Like we should be", I laughed, dancing to the music. She looked around before attempting to dance around. "I think you got it", I giggled as she threw her head back in laughter.
"This is...actually pretty fun", she laughed before her face lit up in amusement. "Is that Princess Hope", she asked in amusement.
Turning my head, I covered my mouth with a loud laugh as I spotted Lizzie spinning Hope around her wildly. "Oh my gosh, Lizzie has actually did the impossible", I joked as I watched Hope smile for what seemed like the first time since I've met her.
"You have no idea", Penelope smiled.

Hope's POV: I laughed as Lizzie danced around like a complete fool. This is actually fun. Why haven't we ever thought of doing this before? It seems like everything is somehow brighter. Is that even possible? I frowned, coming to a stop as a strange feeling washed over me. Why does that sound so familiar?
"Hope, what's wrong", Lizzie asked, after noticing that I've stopped dancing.
"This...this is wrong", I told her.
"Wrong", she frowned. "I thought we were having fun", she asked me.
"We're leaving", I told her sternly, grabbing her arm and pulling her off to the side to grab the bags that I've dropped earlier.
"Wait, why are we leaving", she asked in confusion. "Stop for a moment", she pleaded, as I continued dragging her from the party. "Did I do something wrong", she asked before I quickly got on my horse.
"Get on", I commanded.
"What? No, what about the other one", she questioned, gesturing toward the horse she rode here.
"I've have one of my guys pick him up tomorrow", I said, waving her off. "Now come on. We're going home", I told her, holding my hand out.
"No", she told me stubbornly.
"No", I scoffed.
"That place isn't my home, Hope", she pointed out. "I didn't choose to be here. I didn't choose you", she told me angrily.
"Lizzie, quit being so stubborn and let's go", I said, rolling my eyes.
"See? That's what I'm talking about", she said. "We were having actual fun back there, and then it's like...", she exclaimed, looking for the right words. "It's like you're a completely different person", she yelled.
"So this is my fault", I asked. "You think I chose this", I glared. "I didn't choose any of this", I fumed. "I didn't chose to be born a Princess. To have my father so busy with his work that he sometimes forget he even has a daughter. To have a assassin come into MY kingdom and kill my mother", I yelled at her. "And I sure as hell didn't choose to be married to such a insane lunatic", I yelled. "Now, come on. We're leaving", I told her firmly.
I held my hand out again as she backed away from me as if I slapped her. I clenched my jaw angrily before withdrawing my hand. "Fine. Stay out here", I glared. "Go back to your stupid party, and dance with those revolting peasants. Just don't expect me to be waiting on you when you return", I told her. "In fact, I hope you don't come back. Life in the castle was so much better before you showed up", I seethed before riding off, leaving the blonde's hurt expression behind in the dust.
