Lizzie's POV: I huffed as they threw us into a cell before slamming the door as they left. "Jerks", I muttered before taking the time to actually look around. "Well, Jo. I did tell you that I'd get us in a castle one day", I chuckled as she sent me a incredulous look.

"Lizzie, this is serious. We could be in real trouble", she frowned as I waved her off.

"What will they do? Hang us in front of the entire kingdom like our dearest Uncle Kai", I asked sarcastically. "Or maybe they'll cut off our hands for stealing in the first place", I muttered before noticing her teared-filled eyes. "Hey, I was joking", I told her softly. "We'll get out of here, I promise", I smiled as she looked me over doubtfully.

"Yeah? And then what, Lizzie", she challenged. "Conner torched our home, and we'll never...", she said as her voice broke.

"And then I'll work double shifts at the stables. We'll get there", I whispered as she nodded quietly, causing me to pull her into a hug.

Damon's POV: I paced around the room impatiently as Elena tried to calm me down. I already had three guards fired this week for sleeping on the job. "Where are they? I sent the guards to fetch them hours ago", I growled impatiently before the door swung open as the girls were shoved inside. "Finally", I sighed as the girls looked at each other in confusion and slight fear.

"Your Royal Highness", Josie said, bowing respectfully before elbowing the blonde next to her as she rolled her eyes before bowing sarcastically. Hmm...interesting.

"Thank you for coming", I smiled.

"Not like we had the choice", the blonde muttered, causing the brunette to lightly smack her arm. "What", she asked innocently.

"Damon, they're peasants", Elena scowled in disgust, looking at me disapprovingly.

"But they don't know that", I reminded. "What do you expect me to do? Give one of our own to that beast", I challenged.

"Fine", she huffed. "But must we really have two of them? Surely one is enough", Elena asked, causing the girls to look at each other worriedly.

"You're right...take the blonde one", I commanded.

Josie's POV: I frowned as Lizzie and I was immediately separated. "Josie", she shouted fearfully as I quickly ran after them only to be stopped by a handful of guards.

"No, you can't", I yelled. "Mr. Salvatore, surely there's another way", I panicked as the door slammed shut.

"You should be happy, girl", he told me with a grin, causing tears to swim in my eyes. Happy? How does having my sister be executed make me happy?!

"You'll be doing this Kingdom a great thing", he explained as I glared at him angrily.

He's trying to take Lizzie away from me?

My only family?!

"How could killing a sixteen year old girl be a great thing", I fumed as anger ran through my veins, causing my eyes burned before a low laugh escaped my lips. "Oh, I get it", I smiled, looking between the two as they watched me weirdly. "Is your wife not giving you enough", I crackled before hearing the door open as I tuned them out.

Lizzie's POV: My mind spun, unable to keep up with the movement around me as they stripped me of my clothes and forced me into a royal gown. I frowned, staring down at the blue dress critically as I tried to ignore the multiple maids around me gossiping among themselves. I scowled, swatting at the multiple insistent hands attempting to wipe at my face as I huffed in annoyance before I was practically thrown back into the room. "Oh, you're back", Josie said boredly, causing my eyes to narrow. "I guess he just want to fuck you in front of his wife to show her what she's missing", she shrugged, causing me to curse under my breath. Gripping Josie's arm, she growled warningly before trying to shove me away.

"Josie", I cursed, shaking her slightly. "Look at me", I demanded. "I'm right here. You're safe", I whispered. "I'm right here, okay", I assured as her eyes slowly cleared, causing her to sway as I quickly wrapped my arms around her waist.

"Lizzie? What...", she muttered in confusion before looking over at the furious royalty as she cursed under her breath. "Did I...", she trailed off.

"Just a little", I admitted, causing her to groan as she buried her face in my arm. "Not that I'm complaining or anything, but what's going on", I asked, trying to defuse the situation before Josie somehow gets us killed.

"You're getting married", the king admitted as I inhaled sharply.
