Hope's POV: Walking down the hall, I made my way toward the dinning room, thinking about the conversation with a certain blonde yesterday. I kind of felt bad for how I treated Lizzie. I sighed, shaking my head before pausing at the door to see my father speaking with Lizzie and...the servant girl? Isn't she supposed to be preparing the food with everyone else?
"What do you think you're doing", my father demanded, grabbing the peasant's arm. "You're meant to be helping the others", he said, shoving her toward the door.
"Hey! Who do you think you are", Lizzie shouted, shoving my father away as my eyes widened. Did she just...
"I'm the King", my father seethed. "Show me some respect", he glared at her.
"I don't care who you are. Don't put your hands on her like that again, understood", Lizzie told him angrily.
"You are in my kingdom, princess", he stated.
"I don't give a d-"
"Lizzie", the girl hissed, pulling the fiery blonde away from him and drag her out of the room hurriedly.
"She's certainly an interesting girl. Is she not", I asked, making my presence known as I watched the girl get dragged away.
"She has fire. I'll give her that", he breathed, pouring himself a glass of whiskey.
"You're not gonna...", I trailed off nervously.
"No, I actually find her attitude rather refreshing", he chuckled. "It's been a while since anyone ever challenged my superiority", he smirked, downing his drink in one go.
"So...you're not gonna lock her up or kill her", I questioned.
"No, I actually quite like her. She has spirit", he smiled with a far away look in his eye. "Almost seems...familiar", he muttered, walking from the room as I sighed in relief.

Penelope's POV: I looked around the castle in alert, searching for any signs of danger before hearing what sounded like shouting. Frowning in concern, I stepped forward before spotting Josie dragging someone down the hall. A smile came to my face as the brunette came to a stop, pointing a finger at the girl sternly.
Wait...isn't that the Princess Of Light?
"What is wrong with you", Josie seethed, causing me to purse my lips in amusement. Damn, who knew a servant girl can be so hot? She surely has guts to stand up to royalty like that. Let's just hope that it doesn't get her killed.
"Me? He put his hands on you, Jo", the princess hissed, causing me to narrow my eyes. The King put his hands on Jojo? In what way?
"May I remind you of the last time something like this happened", she said angrily, trying to keep her voice low as the blonde finally calmed down.
"I didn't have a choice, and you know it", the princess shot back as her voice broke, causing me to tilt my head curiously.
"I know, and I'm really glad you did, but this isn't some punk kid, Lizzie. This is the King", she told her carefully, causing anger to flow through my veins. Did someone hurt her?
"I don't care who he is", she exclaimed as Josie quickly quieted her down "He had no right treating you that way. It isn't right. He isn't-"
"I know", Josie whispered. "But that's just the way things are here, Liz", she said sadly. "We aren't on the streets anymore. You can't just go around beating up someone when they look at me the wrong way", she said. On the streets? That must be where Blondie found Jojo.
"I can't let that happen again", the princess hissed. "I won't", she told her stubbornly. "Do you know how much that hurt me to find you that way? To...", she breathed tearfully, causing Josie to put an arm around her reassuringly.
"Hey, I'm okay now", she whispered. "But the important thing is you not getting yourself killed again", Josie warned before pulling her into a hug as I felt myself frown. "I can't loose you again", she said as her voice cracked.
Again?
