Part 20 - The Miracle

After a weeks time Sumedh and Mallika came home from hospital with their baby girl. Ajji took the aarti for them. As all couples would do the nights were turned into days to take care of the child. The house helps were also exhausted. Sumedh took care of the baby carefully. But he never left Miku alone even for a single moment. Every night, Sumedh would hold the baby and sit in the balcony and sing lullabies for her. Her smile was truly captivating. They had converted their adjoining room into a small nursery and decorated it beautifully. Soon the preparations were done to name their baby.

Everyone in the family were giving many suggestions for the names. But Sumedh and Mallika stuck to one name. On the day of the naming ceremony,  the baby was showered with so many gifts. They placed her in a golden cradle and everyone was dressed in pink. Mallika even sang a beautiful song for the baby. Then Aai came and gifted the baby diamond anklets and chain. She announced the baby 's name as Radhika Agarwal and would be called as Radhe. Ajji gave her blessings and gifted a locket.

The day went well and Sumedh and Mallika retired to their room. Aai told Mallika that she would take care of Radhe for that night as the couple looked clearly tired. The couple were really grateful for this break. As soon as Sumedh entered the room he back hugged her. Mallika also missed her husband's touch after all these months. They just showered and went to bed and slept like two people who hadn't slept for months. The next morning Mallika felt something tickling her stomach and it was Sumedh's hairs. He had slept on her tummy as that was his favourite place . Mallika felt the urge to feed her baby as her breasts were full. She slid from Sumedh and went straight to Aai's room and there she was their Radhe looking longingly at her mum. She immediately fed her child. And Sumedh who woke up saw this hugged both the mother and the child.   Radhe would never leave her papa and would be very happy only when he came back from office. She often played with his curly hairs and made it messy. They even bought a dog named Ron for her to play around. The dog was like a good buddy to her.

Radhe was like no other child , she was extraordinary in a way. She looked a human form of love emanating a positive aura wherever she went. Only Ajji knew the mystery about Radhe. Ajji would spend hours a day with the child and always treat her with respect.

Everyday Ajji would bring Krishna prasad from temple and she would devour it lovingly from her mom and make a cute smile. She would close her eyes and enjoy it. As she grew older,  Radhe would often say that she can hear someone playing the flute. But it was dismissed as a little girls pranks. But Ajji didn't think it that way.

Radhe excelled in her studies and in music too. Eventually when she became a woman she learnt psychology and fell in love with a man called Krishn. Krishna looked stunning like her own father and Radhe herself was a beautiful woman.
Ajji's health deteriorated slowly and when she was about to pass away she told the secret she knew always.

Everyone were standing in Ajji's room. She looked at Mallika and Sumedh and asked them to come closer. She asked Mallika to bring the locket which she had gifted her during the marriage. Once she brought it Ajji asked her to open it. It had a small peacock feather shaped ornament made of emerald and sapphire. It glowed once it was touched. The same happened when they opened Radhe 's locket which was also gifted by Ajji. Everyone were stunned. Ajjj explained that as Shri  Radha couldn't be united with Lord Krishna she got a boon from him that she would be born again multiple times on earth and marry him and lead a happy life.

Everyone understood that it was Mallika and Sumedh that Ajji was mentioning about and also about Radhe and Krishn. Ajji said that it would continue to proceed like this in their family. As she breathed her last Ajjj saw Sri Narayan and Sri Lakshmi in both the couples. She had tears of milk flowing from her eyes. Everyone could understand what Ajji saw and they fell on her feet. The family couldn't believe what they saw and what they heard from Ajji but the miracles continued in their family in every successive generation. The couples lived a happy life ever after.........
