It was magical. I sat on Appa's back as Aang and Katara used their bending to surround us with a thick cloud.
I felt us start to descend, Aang smiled, "I think I see a cave below."
"Sh! Keep quiet!" Sokka fussed as we reached the ground.
When we landed, Sokka got off and began to lecture us, "Great job with the cloud camo, but next time, let's disguise ourselves as the kind of cloud that knows how to keep its mouth shut. "
Sokka started surveying the beach, Toph rolled her eyes, "Yeah, we wouldn't want a bird to hear us chatting up there and turn us in."
"Hey, we're in enemy territory," He pointed to some puffins perched on a rock above him, "Those are enemy birds."
One of the Puffins jumped on Sokka's head and cawed out. We laughed and made our way to the cave. Sokka began erratically searching the cave.
He sighed as he finished, "Well, this is it. This is how we'll be living until the invasion begins. Hiding in cave after cave after cave after cave..."
Katara placed her hand on her hip, "Sokka, we don't need to become cave people. What we need is some new clothes."
"Yeah, blending in is better than hiding out. If we get Fire Nation disguises, we would be just as safe as we would be hiding in a cave."
Toph kicked back on a rock, "Plus, they have real food out there. Does anyone want to sit in the dirt and eat cave hoppers?"
Sokka sighed and looked at me, "You know the Fire Nation better, you think that would work?"
I shrugged, "It worked in the earth kingdom. If anyone asks, just say we're from the colonies. Plenty of people from the colonies look like they're from a different nation."
Sokka sighed and looked at Momo, "Looks like we got outvoted, sport. Let's get some new clothes."
We found an acre of laundry lines. We hid behind a large rock.
"I don't know about this," Aang looked out on the laundry, "These clothes belong to somebody."
I looked at him sarcastically, "The whole world used to belong to somebody."
Katara jumped up and ran to get her things, "I call the silk robe!"
Aang looked at her as she ran, "If it's essential to our survival... then I call the suit!"
I smirked, "My turn."
I ran over and grabbed an outfit for myself.
We changed in separate areas, then went back over the wall, and Aang put on a headband, "Ta-dah! Normal kid."
"Hm ... I should probably wear shoes. But then I won't be able to see as well. Sorry, shoes," Toph pulled on a shoe, breaking the sole and launching it at Sokka's face, "Finally, a stylish shoe for the blind earthbender."
