"Hey, Creativity! Come with me real quick, I wanna show you something!" Morality's cheery voice broke through the silence in the Mindscape commons.

Creativity was quick to jump up and follow him, asking what the occasion was. They walked down the hallway to Logic's room and Morality said, "Oh, nothing special, just follow me!"

"Sure thing, Padre, but wh-"

Creativity was cut off by a sharp pain shooting up his spine. He let out a scream of agony, barely noticing Morality's teary eyes and seeing Logic's blurry figure behind him, expression probably blank as always. What had they done to him!?

A teary whisper from Morality made its way into Creativity's mind before everything went black. "I'm sorry, this is what's best for Thomas..."

Logic was quick to hide the small machine he'd made upon Morality's request away in his closet. He then grabbed another device, a smaller one that was also the desire of Morality. When he reemerged, the unconscious side; or, rather, two sides now, were sprawled across the carpeted floor, one wearing black, one wearing white. "Which one will be Good, and which one Evil?" asked the logical side, eyes flicking between the two young sides that laid between him and Morality.

"Th-The one in white's Good..." Morality said softly. A tear slipped down his cheek. "I-I know that this is best for Thomas, b-but why?!" The last word came out in a cry, and Morality started sobbing into his hands.

Logic felt uncomfortable at the sight of emotions in his room. He walked across the room and awkwardly placed a hand on the sobbing side's shoulder, saying, "This is what had to be done. In order to have a more fulfilling life, our host must focus more on the more, er, princely side of his Creativity. The 'good' side, if you will." He hesitated for a moment. "We will call Deception here in a moment, but first, I must use this," he held up the device in his hand, "to erase both Creativities' memories of ever being the King." He then crouched down and held the device near both sides' heads, and it made a whirring sound.

"There are two of Creativity now; we can't just have two sides with the same-"

Logic had already prepared for this. "I know, Morality. The one in white will be the Prince, and the one in black, the Duke." Morality didn't seem satisfied at this answer, but nodded slightly. Logic sighed, "I know you want to find a loophole through this, so that we can't do it. But, Morality, we have to. You know that."

Just then, Deception rose up outside Logic's door looking stressed, his hat missing and cape wrinkled. "You know, I just love how both of you constantly call me for random reas-" His gaze dropped to the floor, where the unconscious sides were. "Who are they? New sides?"

"No, Deception, this is actually Creativity."

Deception furrowed his eyebrows together, looking quite confused for about a minute.

"We, uh, we d-did it." Morality broke the awkward quiet.

"Ah..." Deception zoned off for a moment, then snapped back to attention. "NOW?! You decide to do it now?! Oh, sure, this isn't another burden at all, two more ten-year-old-ish sides in the Mindscape. I can take another! Fine!"

Once he was done going off on his tirade, Logic questioned, "Another? What do you mean, another?"

"Another side, I thought that was quite obvious." This stopped both Morality and Logic in their tracks. "A new side... showed up a few days ago, I've been-" he had to stop to clear his head, he needed to think clearly to consciously tell the truth, "I've been taking care of him, he's a handful. I hardly get any sleep."

Morality jumped up from his seat. "A new side?! Why didn't you tell us?"

"Why didn't you tell me you were doing the split today?" Deception challenged, hissing harshly. Morality shrunk back a little.

Logic walked out of the room carrying Dark Creativity in his arms. "This one is yours." He promptly placed the child in a sputtering Deception's arms and walked off to his room, shutting the door behind him, leaving both Creativities, Good and Evil, in their corresponding guardian's arms.

Morality shifted his arms as Prince stirred, and whispered, "You should go before they wake up." Deception nodded and sank down with Dark Creativity.

Meanwhile, the mindscape had undergone some changes. A new room with a green door was added in the dark side of the mindscape, in between Anxiety's and Deception's. Creativity's room had changed, as well, turning from green-and-red themed to red-and-gold themed. The door shifted to a red color with a gold crown marking the outside.

The Imagination was split into two sides. The first being the Light side, where all of the villagers lived, with the friendly forest animals and beautiful scenery. A gigantic palace stood at the top of a hill, looking over everything that the light touched. The second side, being the Dark side, where all the creatures of the depth lived. An abandoned mansion stood on top of the hill there, and instead of villagers, there were all kinds of atrocities. Beasts of all shapes and sizes, all forms and colors. The scenery was not beautiful and perfect, but rather swampy and gross. Slime covered most of what little living trees there were, and the forest was littered with dead trees. Rats and bears, among the abnormalities, lived among the forest, haunting the woods with an evil aura.

Not even Logic could have predicted what tremendous changes had occurred, let alone Morality or Deception.

Logic opened his door to see Morality carrying the child to his new room. He quickly shut the door, hoping that Morality didn't notice him peering out of it.

Morality realized while he was tucking the small child that, since Logic was holed up in his room most of the time, he would have to assume dad-like qualities as to be there for Light Creativity.

Speaking of Light Creativity, the mentioned side was stirring, waking up. "Wha..."

The older side jumped. "Hey, kiddo!" Hey exclaimed.

"Where am I?"

Woo hoo, guess who was going to write more but lost motivation.

Take it easy guys gals and non-binary pals, peace out!
