Chioma's POV.

Agozie and I were now seated at the dinning table and enjoying his very delicious jollof rice with his homemade apple juice and coleslaw alongside saucy grilled chicken.

"Who knew you could cook so well? I mean, this is really delicious. Even I can't deny that fact" I said and I watched him chuckle. Something about that chuckle made me smile, he looked really handsome... Especially today. He was only wearing a green football jersey with black jean shorts and he had a black bandana tied to his head, giving him that bad boyish look with a gold chain around his neck, and his black puma slippers on his feet.

"Chioma" I heard him say as he clicked his finger in my face to get my attention.

"Huh? I mean, yes?" I replied, suddenly feeling embarrassed that he caught me staring like a complete and utterly embarrassed doff.

"I asked if you'd like to go out instead of being in here all day" he said and I took a sip of my Apple juice and thought about it for a while.

"Some place like?" I asked and he ran a hand through his bushy and curly hair. His hair was almost as thick as the Sambisa Forest. I've never seen a guy with so much hair before.

"The movies. And you can pick the movie yourself, as long as it has nothing to do with those lovey-dovey nonsense you girls waste your brain cells watching, then I'm cool with it. My treat" he said and I bit my lower lip in thought.

"I don't know," I started, still in thought. "I'm kinda of full right now" I replied and he sighed.

"Then Saturday?" He asked.

"Saturday is just fine" I replied with a smile grazing my lips.

"See? You're smiling anyhow cause of me. Am I not too much? Are you not feeling me? I'm too good jare! I'm a boss!" He joked, flexing his muscles as he did while I laughed whilst rolling my eyes at him.

"You're really something" I muttered and he grinned.

"But seriously though, please keep smiling. You hear? It suits you" he said and I grinned in response.

"I'll be right back" he said, getting up from his chair and heading to the kitchen.

"What's wrong?!" I hollered from the dinning room.

"Nothing!" He hollered back." I just need a drink" he said, walking back into dinning room while holding a bottle of whiskey in his hand and a glass cup in his other hand, "want some?" He asked, pouring some of the contents of the bottle into the glass cup he held in his hand.

"No, I don't drink" was my simple reply.

"Why?" He asked, taking a sip out of the cup.

"I just don't drink. My body can't process alcohol really well so I'd rather not. Besides, the last time I took alcohol; I did so many crazy things" I smiled to myself as I took my now empty plate to the kitchen.

"Oh, so you did drink?! You pretty rascal!" He hollered from the dinning room and I shook my head amusedly as I returned from the kitchen with a chilled bottle of water in hand. I sat on one of the couches in the living room and turned on the TV and Agozie joined me on the couch where I sat shortly. I gagged the minute he got closer, I almost forgot how much I hated the smell of alcohol. It always made me nauseous.
