Chioma's POV.

I was shocked at his words but didn't say anything. My eyes travelled back to the two who were busy chatting away and smiling at each other.

"I'll tell you what," Femi said and I averted my eyes from the two and looked at him. "Why don't we make this fun? Instead of frowning at the fact that we are here. Why don't we also enjoy this outing?" He said and I narrowed my eyes at him.

"What exactly are you driving at?" I asked and he sighed and pulled a seat for me to sit down.

"Have a seat" he said and I furrowed my brows in confusion. But I still sat down and he sat down on the chair opposite mine, his smile was still glued to his face and I knew he had something strange going on in his head.

"Femi, what are you thinking about?" I asked and he chuckled.

"You see, sweetheart. Those two," he looked at the two. " Are our exes and they seem to have moved on pretty fine. Now, would you want..." He stared at Ebuka and I sighed.

"His name is Ebuka" I said.

"Right. So do you want Ebuka to think that you haven't moved on? You want him to think that you still miss him?" He asked, narrowing his eyes at me.

I have to admit, he got me there. But what exactly is his point? Of course I don't want Ebuka to feel as if I still miss him or I still have feelings for him. Heck no!

"So, you're saying...?" I asked, curiosity getting the best of me.

"I'm saying that we should make this interesting. Make it seem like we are in love with each other. Look, don't get me wrong. I don't have any feelings for you _ just to be clear _ but I'm only saying this so we can at least not sulk on this outing like we are about to. I don't know about you but I do not want Jade to think I still miss he, even if I do" he said and I could see how regret washed up on his face. He must've really loved her, but it's none of my business.

"There's no way I'm doing that!" I whisper-yelled.

"Why are you so difficult? I'm doing this cause I'm__"

"And I said that I'm not doing it. I don't want to pretend to be in love with you" I replied.

"Why? Are you scared that you'll actually fall in love with me?" He smirked and I rolled my eyes at him.

"What's there to fall in with you for? You are simply not my type" I replied bluntly.

"Then what exactly is your type?" He said, his smirk was still visible on his face.

"Why are you even asking me such a stupid question?" I snapped.

"Cause I'm curious. I don't see why you don't like what you're seeing right here in front of you" he said, pointing at himself and smirking as he did.

"And what exactly is there to like about you? You're just an annoying person and you simply think that all girls should fall at your feet because you think you look handsome" I shot at him, stressing the word 'think' and he chuckled.

"You're really funny, do you know that?" He said, his deep laughter filled the air. I stared at him and wondered what was so funny. His pearly whites were on full display as he laughed and he looked really good. As a creation though.
