Chioma's POV.
I opened my eyes with great difficulty, due to the terrible migraine I was having, and I immediately shut them back the minute the rays of light from the sun_ which reflected from the windows_ fell directly into my eyes, blurring my vision for only a split second.
I muttered words incoherently as I tried getting up but failed miserably; slumping _ once more _ against the bed. It was then that I took notice of my environment and realized I was in Amanda's room, with her massive duvet over my body. The minute I tried getting up again, I heard a groan right next to me and I turned my head to the direction of the sound and was beyond shocked to see Agozie sleeping right next to me, without any care in the world. Luckily, he was fully dressed and that saved me the embarrassment of having wild thoughts on what might have happened last night.
Last night...
I tried my best to recall the events from last night but my head kept making that excessive bang sound in my head, that only I could hear. I contemplated waking him up but decided against it, seeing as he looked so peaceful and I didn't what to bother him. I decided we'd talk about it the minute he wakes up. My headache made things really difficult and it made me groan in pain as I tried massaging my forehead.
Finally pulling the big duvet off my body, I got out of bed but then I realized I wasn't putting on my clothes but Amanda's panda bear nightie.
The fudge?! He changed me?!
Without thinking twice, I smacked Agozie so hard on his legs that he jumped out of bed and fell to the floor; face flat. I couldn't care less about if he broke a few bones as he fell, the main issue at hand was that he changed me without my consent.
"You changed me last night, didn't you?" I asked more calmly than expected, shocking myself with the amount of eery calmness I withheld in my voice. I was feeling so embarrassed, definitely, but I certainly couldn't act like it never happened. For Pete's sake, he's Amanda cousin and I don't even know him that well! And we definitely haven't gotten to changing each other's clothes stage... Which is certainly not even a thing!
"I did, but only because you reeked so much last night. You took too much alcohol and that made you, well, smell bad. I was only trying to help" he said with a shrug, running a hand through his hair and yawning extensively.
Don't even get me started on his morning breath, Eww!
"I got drunk because you made me drink all that alcohol, you didn't even pity me" I argued.
"I didn't push the drink down your throat, you took it willingly" he replied nonchalantly, doing a few stretches, which only irked me further. He doesn't even understand the gravity of what he did.
"And chill, my eyes were closed the entire time" he winked with a smile grazing his lips.Of course I know he's definitely lying! I'm not stupid!
I felt my cheeks burn with embarrassment and I groaned while cradling my head in my palms.
"How much did you see?" I asked and he grinned.
"A lot!" He beamed and my eyes bulged out of their sockets. "I saw a whole lot!" His goofy grin was on full display at this point.
"Seriously?" I asked, my voice a little shaky.
"Relax," he chuckled. "I'm just kidding!" He chuckled once more and I exhaled and plopped on the bed once more.
