Seungcheol slid his phone back in the pocket of his grey blazer, casually leaning back against the steel pipes of the school gate. He poked his tongue against the insides of his mouth, being the only thing that showed off how nervous he actually was. For any other person that would come around at that time he would just look like he was waiting for someone to pick him up.
Someone normal.
Seconds passed by painfully slow and Seungcheol started to question if they might have forgotten about him? A part of him wished they did, but knowing what people he had to deal with they would show up on exactly 12 am, not deviating a second.
He wished he could run away, or not show up at all. But thinking about all the possible things they might do to his boyfriend, the best thing was to wait for them and do whatever they wanted from him.
I don't have any choice
sadly.
A black car pulled up right in front of him and he looked up, meeting the eyes of the oh so familiar driver. Another person he wished he could leave behind in the past and never look back on. Even though the windows in the backdoors were blinded, Seungcheol knew exactly who sat behind them. No doubt.
It got confirmed the moment a tall man, wearing a black suit, got out and held the door open freely for Seungcheol to get in. Seungcheol, being as polite as he was, nodded expressionless to the guard and helped himself in the backseat.
"I knew you would come."
Seungcheol finally allowed himself to look up to the seats that were placed in front of him and met eyes with the girl he hadn't seen for the past two months. She pulled a disgusting face after their eyes met and shifted her gaze, signaling for the guard to get back in the car.
When he sat down next to Seungcheol and shut the door behind them the vehicle started moving. "You better hurry the fuck up, they think I'm in the toilet." Seungcheol spat to the girl in front of him while the security guard next to him let them freely do their thing.
"And you better shut the fuck up and let me speak first. I don't care what those sissy friends of you think. You're in my goddamn car right now so you better listen to me." Oh, how he hadn't missed that annoying high pitched voice and commands of hers over the past two months. So with a sigh he let himself sink back in his seat, crossing his arms and giving her a hostile look.
"Just hurry up, will you?"
She rolled her eyes and crossed her arms as well. "Fine. Mister Choi wants you back." Seungcheol shrugged, acting like he didn't care a single bit. "Dad can walk to hell. Why does he-" "-don't interrupt me! He's been sending me and a few other guys out over the past few months to find out where the fuck you were. It took us ages, until last week when we saw you driving around in that ridiculously huge black jeep of yours. Easy right? We followed you and found out where you were staying. Pretty sick location though, can I ask where you found that?"
"Continue, for fucks sake."
"Anyways, we finally found a way to get you here! We knew you would reject coming with us if we didn't have something we could blackmail you with. And that's when we found out you were leaving in you car more often than before. It wasn't hard to find out who you were going to, especially after you took him home with you! Piece of cake, you wouldn't expected I would be on this level already, huh?!"
"Can you tell me what the fuck is going on already?! This shit is taking too long for my own sake, they think I'm at the toilet, remember?!" The girl just rolled her eyes and leaned back full of pride, giving Seungcheol an evil grin.
"We're not giving you a choice. If you're not coming back of your own will, we have to take you back in our own way." She suddenly gave him a look full of sympathy, acting like she actually cared about the whole situation. "And you're familiar with our way!You know it isn't going to be without any violence."
Seungcheol gave her an unbelieving look, feeling his heart speeding up after taking in every single word she had spoken. "Yenna.. You know I can't come back. I'm building up a life here, I can't just leave that behind."
"You left us behind too-" "-That's not the fucking same!" Seungcheol snapped and yelled out. "I can't come fucking back! I don't want to be his fucking son and I don't want to be involved in this whole circuit I lived in for the past eighteen years of my life! I can't Yenna, you know that!"
Yenna's eyes widened a little after hearing Seungcheol flash out on her like that. For a moment she looked hurt and Seungcheol would almost say he felt sorry for going out on her like that. "Seungcheol.. you know I still love you right?-" "-you don't yenna and you never did. And you know I never did either. Stop lying to me. We all know my dad forced us to be together back then."
Suddenly she sat straight, all emotion leaving her eyes while she looked at him. "Yeah I know. Who am I even kidding. Now listen up you douchebag. Your dad gives you two days to come back. The day after tomorrow we're going to be waiting right outside the driveway outside of that sickly luxe mansion of yours in this car, ten in the evening, not a second later. You're only getting one chance to be there."
"And what if I don't show up?" Seungcheol showed a defiant attitude, something she highly disliked.
"Then we're going to take actions. Starting with hurting that boyfriend of yours." Seungcheol's eyes widened and a mischievous smile appeared on Yenna's face when she found his weakest spot. "Ahh, exactly. You wouldn't want that to happen of course. So if I were you I wouldn't be disobedient."
"You can't do this to me." Seungcheol knew his bratty behavior wouldn't bring him anywhere, as much as he hoped begging would help him out in this situation he knew it was a dead end.
"Eh, well actually I can. Watch me!" She threw her head back and laughed out loud, the sight being pure horror to Seungcheol who felt himself sink smaller and smaller every second that passed. He hadn't even noticed the car had pulled its breaks until Yenna stopped laughing again, folding her hands back together on her lap and giving Seungcheol the most hatred smile he had ever seen.
"You're free to go now Seungcheol. And don't forget. The day after tomorrow, Wednesday, 10 in the evening. You better be in time."
Without hesitation Seungcheol got up and pushed the security guard back in his seat, motioning that he could perfectly get out himself. He pulled on the door handle and set feet outside the car again, managing to stand up straight with his awfully trembling legs.
"Oh Seungcheol wait, before I forget!" Seungcheol, who was just about to slam the door back in it's lock, turned back and gave Yenna one last dirty look. "Before you come back, because we all know you're too weak to not show up, you have to do one more thing. You know, things might get messy if you don't."
"What is it." Seungcheol asked emotionless, being overly done with Yenna's bullshit.
"You have to break Jeonghan's heart."
The door got pulled out of his hand and shut back in its lock while the car drove off on full speed, leaving Seungcheol behind in a state of shock.
i have to.. break his heart..?
Again, nearly collapsing in his spot. How could they do this to him? After everything they already put him through? keep yourself together man. you can't look weak remember. He took a deep breath and aggressively pulled his hair back, only for it to fall back in front of his eyes again, turning around and facing the 5 floors high school building again.
Defeated, he slumped back to the entrance, his head hanging lower than usual and he tried his hardest to pull himself together.
No.
It wasn't easy..
