"ERIC!"

"I'm coming! I'm coming! Jesus Yenna, we got time enough to get there."

The man in his mid twenties speed walked to the shiny black BMW that was parked in front of the mansion he and the rest of mr Choi's so called workers lived in. The sunlight outside started to fade as the moon started rising and took in its place.

Eric calmly sat down in the drivers seat of the vehicle, ignoring the grumbling Yenna in the passenger seat. Slowly he twisted the car key in its lock and looked at the little screen in his dashboard that showed how far you could drive in reverse before hitting something with your car.

As always, Eric was a calm person and took his time at literally everything that was needed to be done.

"Can't you drive at least a little faster? You know we have to be there at exactly ten o'clock!"

Eric rolled his eyes while he drove off the driveway, rolling onto the dirt road that led him to the highway as the house was build in the middle of nowhere so the location was easy to be kept a secret. At the perfect distance away from civilization.

"Relaaaaax" He answered in an exaggerated American accent, his way of saying things, before continuing in their native language. "It's only eight right now, we got plenty of time going there!"

"You can't tell me to relax when we have to drive all the way over there! Besides, it takes at least an hour to get there, if we're lucky.." She let out a high pitched annoyed sigh and crossed her legs, dramatically leaning back against the headrest of her chair. She pinched the bridge of her nose with her index finger and her thumb as a sign of how annoyed she was. "So stop being so layed back all the fucking time and use that accelerator. It isn't built in a car for no use!"

The only thing Eric replied with was throwing his head back to let out a low chuckle, driving even a little slower to push her level of anger a little more. "I mean, if you pay me enough anything is possible." He answered nonchalant, giving her his usual fake smile as his hate for the girl only grew more every day that passed.

"I hope you choke on your own saliva. Now if you don't drive faster I'll call mister Choi and I don't think you want that to happen do you?" She ended her sentence in a honey sweet voice, making the car speed up automatically.

Eric stared with a cold gaze at the road in front of him, finally driving onto the paved road and picking up speed as he mixed between the rest of the cars on the highway. All emotion drained from his face as he cursed silently underneath his breath.

"Exactly, that's what I wanted to see, keep going."

Eric knew, just like everyone else who worked for their boss mr Choi, that the girl was his little favorite and had the power to drag you into his office by just the flick of her annoying little fingers. Messing with her was therefore exactly the same as making a death wish and you had to watch your words in every possible situation.

"I'll be glad when Seungcheol is picked up so I don't have to drive you there every single time."

"I'll miss you too Eric." Yenna suddenly turned around to him excitedly. "Wait, now you're telling me you'll be glad when Seungcheol is picked up? Weren't you the one who got set up with me because you were against it the whole time?"

Eric clenched his teeth and held tightly onto the steering wheel until his knuckled started turning a dangerous shade of white. He kept his mouth closed, scared of everything that might go wrong once he spoke out the truth against Yenna and trying his hardest to suppress the sudden rush of anger. The look on her face alone was enough to make his blood boil.

Because in fact, Eric was absolutely against trying to find Seungcheol back.

The two boys had grown up together in an environment they absolutely didn't want to be in ever since they were little kids. So Eric had always seen Seungcheol as his little brother that had to be protected from the families they lived in.

They made plans ever since Seungcheol was at the age of nine, but both were too scared to actually commit. Until Seungcheol, miraculously, broke free two months ago. Eric had no idea how it succeed without him being caught. Nonetheless, all he wanted was him to be free and find true happiness.

But of course, his father thought otherwise.

If Eric could have convinced his boss to not search for him, since he knew his horrible opinion on his son anyways, he would have followed Seungcheol and found a way to run away as well. But sadly, things didn't go like he hoped and here he was, cooped up with the one and only person he despised to be around the most. Kim Yenna..

On their way to ruin Seungcheol's life yet again.

He couldn't help but to feel guilty at only the thought of the look Seungcheol would have on his face once they would pick him up. Especially after hearing Yenna talking about a significant other he had to break before he would go with them.

"I see, you're not giving me an answer. I always knew you had a weak spot for that useless piece of-" "-if you finish that sentence I'm crashing the two of us against the truck you see..right there." Eric gave her a warning look as he pointed at a bright red truck that drove on their left.

The girl flinched and Eric would almost say he felt a little compassion, but remained dead serious when he reminded himself he couldn't show any form of emotion towards her. Because once he saw through the mask she put up, she leaned back in her seat and crossed her arms like a little child that didn't get what she wanted.

"Whatever, just don't recklessly crash us or anything."

"Exactly, now please stop talking so I can listen to the radio." Just when she was about to complain again Eric turned the volume a little up, making her sink back in her seat, totally defeated.

"That's what you get for messing with my little brother." Eric whispered in English, making it even harder for her to understand as the music blasted right through what he had just said.

Eric focusses back on the road, looking at how the colours of the sunset started fading away in the darkness that was falling over the landscape like a big blanket. There was only one thing on his mind.

Once they took Seungcheol back with them, he was going to give everything he had so he could return to the life he was building up right now. He would do it for Seungcheol's freedom and safety.

For Seungcheol.
