Everything is terrible.
Or at least it hasn't gotten any better since Free De La Hoya went missing.
Panic spread like wildfire ever since it appeared on the news. Former world champion gone missing. Fear took over many bladers the first couple of months and of course none of that helped the cause.
After Free's disappearance more and more bladers had also gone missing. Some went missing looking for Free while others were in the wrong place and time.
In short, times had been tough. Lots of bladers were scared and some even threatened to cancel tournaments. But other than fear and panic, sadness had also taken over leaving the blading world in ruins.
Brother losing brother, sister losing sister it was not a good scene. For some they moved on quickly trying to forget about what happened while it took others longer to move on. Some never moved on from what took place.
One of those people was Kris, the first few days of this "war" she cried. Sympathy was constantly felt for her. While Trad was the opposite, he only pushed bladers harder to the point where they wanted to stop. Trad would never admit it but even he missed Free.
For others like Valt they had a hard time wrapping their head around the situation. He'd dealt with Shu missing before but now Free? It was almost too much for the young Valtryek blader.
But Valt did feel anger besides sadness. He had the chance to catch up with Free and help him but instead he stayed back to talk to Phi. To show him he wasn't afraid of his challenge and that had cost him Free.
Another person that was effected greatly was Lui. Lui, had always been one of Free's main rivals. He always
challenged Free and Free always found Lui intruging. But now that Free was gone it was like a fire had gone out in Lui. He seemed more distant than powerful or ruthless than before. After Free's A.W.O.L and other bladers missing status, WBBA had taken a lot of precautions for teams and individual bladers. Bladers were watched like hawks almost to the point where fights had broken out. Guards were posted at each entrance, exit, quarters and office. Even the referee and Hanami seemed on edge.
Meanwhile Phi was declaring himself the king or lord of destruction and took over Beyblade. Beating Free, Shu, and Aiger was all he needed. Some were saying he's unstoppable. Others say he's otherworldly like a god but to some he's the opposite.
Whatever he was, Phi was powerful and was absorbing others' power and light.
First it was Laban and Aiger, then it was Hades and Fafnir and now it was Spryzen.
Phi was going for the top of the food chain and he wasn't afraid.
Aside from Phi taking over, things had quieted down greatly. Now that summer was over the school year would be beginning soon and things would be moving on. For bladers that were amateurs some were moving on from the sport. Phi had made it very clear he only treasured those who had power and for those who did it for fun quit.
But Phi wasn't the only person they were all talking about. Mainly it was Free De La Hoya that was on everyone's mind that summer. Whenever bladers would practice with each other the name would always come up.
Free De La Hoya was and still is a legend to some bladers. Some would always remember him like BC Sol and especially Kris. While others were just sad like Joshua. Ever since Free had gone missing the announcement had stirred up a lot of attention to the blading world.
Some rumors said that he joined the Snake Pit, others thought he was dead, some said he was on another training adventure. But in their own ways they were all right and wrong at the same time.
Ever since Free De La Hoya went missing BC Sol has been less lively. Even Raul had been a little less bubbly. While Kris hadn't been seen a lot lately. But that could always be for other reasons.
Over the course of those months everything quieted down. People stopped complaining, fighting, and protesting, which of course made things easier for Phi. Eventually Blading became just a sport and even legends like Valt didn't show their faces often.
Some were still grieving, others moved on while the concept of it became just a sport. Just a game for fun for little kids and that was it.
Stories of powerful bladers became legends and sadly the fun of Beyblade decreased among the blading world.
But all of that was over 5 months ago and since then a lot has changed....
Now in another part of the world a small group of bladers hadn't lost hope. Among those bladers was Fubuki Sumiye the Forenous blader and leader of the Begioma Academy. Unlike a lot of bladers he knew this wasn't over.
So he kept blading, even when former friends stopped and when the blading world became miserable. He thrived and he didn't give up hope even when Phi took over the blading world. Even when Free went missing. Even when rumors of the Dreaded Snake Pit stirred up even more drama.
But unlike a lot of bladers Fubuki believes he could stop Phi. But maybe perhaps he is focusing on the wrong villain?
