Ep 20: The Secrets of the Dread Tower! Part 2

"That doesn't make any sense why would Daigo be at the Dread Tower?" Fubuki asked.

"Also why is Lui here battling him?" Aiger added.

"And how did we get so lost?" Ranjiro asked, looking around.

For the past couple of minutes the group had been wandering around and they had lost their way back to Valt's room.

While Aiger and Ranjiro had been talking about Lui. Fubuki noticed Valt had been eerily quiet.

Fubuki felt for him and related to the fact that his friend hadn't told him everything about him.

"But what I don't understand is how did Daigo manage to beat Lui?"

"Guys shush."

The boys stopped arguing and looked over at Fubuki.

The sound of chatter felt very far away but Fubuki recognized the voice immediately. He took off swift jog eager to get to the noise.

"Hey wait up Fubuki." Ranjiro, Aiger and Valt followed from behind trying to keep up.

Fubuki turned the corner following the sound of chatter peering through the air duct Fubuki knew this was the right room.

"Guys." Fubuki waved his hand and the herd of boys came over.

It was a small room that had a dark nighttime feel to it. The only light illuminated from a single light from above. There was a masculine feel to the room. The room was mainly dark but one of the walls was red.

"Look who's the pool shark now?"

Standing in the doorway was Phi looking across the room at Theodore giving him a smirk.

"It helps me think, speaking of which what's your report." Theodore responded hitting a ball into the hole.

"There's been some resistance from some of the bladers."

"Think of it like this Phi."

Theodore took all the balls out of the holes and set them up in a triangle at the end of the table.

"Think of the balls as the bladers and this white ball is us."

Theodore leaned over aiming the ball at the others. He hit the ball so fast that Phi didn't even see his arm move.

The white ball sped over across the pool table hitting the other balls.

"Once you break them apart it's easy to pick them off one by one."

Theodore went around the table hitting the striped balls into the holes. Until there were solid colored ones left.

"Then when our little "resistance" is left they'll have no one to crawl to for help."

Theodore finished off the rest of the balls sending them to their doom. When he was all done he set the game back up again.

"But that's not the only thing that's wrong sir."

"Sir?" Valt whispered.

Theodore looked up from what he was doing and looked at Phi.

"I've heard word from our scout that we've lost another on the other end of things."

"That's the third one this month, we can't afford another one going missing. If this keeps up then people are going to get suspicious."

Theodore hit the balls spreading them apart again.

"But thing is, they're all in range if things get risky."

This time Theodore hit a dark maroon colored ball stopping short of the hole.

"Good, that's exactly what I want to hear Silver Eye."

The boys gasped causing Theodore and Phi to look around for the source of the noise.

"Trespassers, guards find them!"

Fubuki ran. He didn't look back; he just ran as fast as he could. Theodore and Phi were intimidating and if they caught him... No, Fubuki didn't want to think about it.

Heck Fubuki ran so fast he didn't notice when he triggered a booby trap. Tripping over another trap another door came down blocking the guards from the boys.

"Ha ha! Yes!" Ranjiro pumped his hand in the air hitting the ceiling tile.

But the tile went down triggering another booby trap. The wall turned sending the group to another part of the Dread Tower. Climbing up the stairs, booby traps did not end. Then when they reached the top things settled down.

"That was intense." Ranjiro said out of breath.

"Yeah. They have some tight security." Fubuki added.

"Come on guys we have to keep moving I think I hear the guards." Aiger said, running in front of Fubuki.

Just then Aiger stepped on a floor tile, it went down triggering another trap.

"Oh no not again."

Out of all the traps this one was the worst the walls started pushing in squeezing the bladers together. Fubuki tried to push the wall back but it was too strong.

Just then when the boys were on top of each other Fubuki's elbow pushed a button.

The floor gave out and boys were sent down a chute. The group fell onto a large bed, Fubuki's bed.

"That was crazy." Ranjiro said.

"Yeah too crazy. No more sneaking around. Agreed?" Fubuki asked

"Agreed." They all said.

"Wait I'm confused, why did Theodore call Phi Silver Eye?" Aiger asked.

The boys turned to Valt who looked like he was still mentally processing.

"When the Beyclub and I went to the Snake Pit all the bladers there called each other names like Gold Eye or Black Eye. But one of the greatest mysteries of the place were the bladers. We all know Shu used to be Red Eye and Norman was Gold Eye. But Silver Eye was always the greatest mystery."

"Wait then why would Phi be Silver eye? He doesn't have any silver eyes." Ranjiro asked.

"Maybe he couldn't decide so he just went with his hair color?" Fubuki suggested.

"I don't know." Valt said, thinking.

"Well I don't know about you guys but I'm tired." Aiger said, yawning.

Ranjiro yawned along with Aiger and Fubuki rubbed his eyes.

"We'll meet up in the morning, I need to mentally process this."

"Night guys." Valt said, going to his room.

"Goodnight Valt."

"Night Fubuki."

"Bye Ranjiro."

"Sweet dreams Aiger."

The group broke up going back to their rooms. Luckily for Fubuki he didn't have to go anywhere.

Collapsing onto the bed Fubuki fell asleep from all the excitement.
