Fubuki hated the rain.
Or that's at least what he was thinking as he was running through the rain that evening.
Laban was a few feet ahead of Fubuki but it was hard to see and kept up because of the rain.
Lighting shot across the sky lighting up the atmosphere. Up ahead for a split second Fubuki could see Aiger and Ranjiro dueling it out against each other.
"Hey guys wait up!"
Laban started running faster as an attempt to catch up while Fubuki lagged behind.
As he was sprinting he felt a small tug on his pants. He looked down to see Naru jogging beside him.
"Hey Fubuki I'm scared."
Naru was trembling a little and she had a scared/worried look on her face.
"It'll be okay Naru, the rain can't hurt you."
She nodded and smiled.
Fubuki picked her up and carried her while jogging.
I guess this is good for training
As they neared the mansion Fubuki noticed that the deeper they got into the neighborhood the larger the houses got.
Some houses were just massive, with 5 car garages or a huge circle driveway. But then that's when he saw it, at the end of the cul-de-sac was a giant colonial house.
The landscaping was gorgeous, two trees stood proudly on either side and in the middle was a walkway with a fountain in the middle. Red brick covered the majority of the house while white trim was there to contrast. A circle driveway took up most of the front yard and a huge 4 car garage was on the side along with a guest house.
"Wow! This place is as big as Wakiya Murasaki's house!" said Ranjiro looking up.
Aiger ran past him to the door making sure he won their race.
"What no fair!"
"Hehe."
Just then the door opened to reveal a long slender man dressed in a black suit. He had long black hair slicked back and hard silver blue eyes. His mouth was a straight line. And based on his unhappy appearance Fubuki could tell right away this butler did not like kids.
"Umm hi, we were invited." said Fubuki giving the butler the invitation. He looked it over and opened the door without saying a word.
Aiger and Ranjiro walked in first chatting while Laban and the Wild Bey gang followed. Fubuki and Naru brought up the rear.
"Thank you." Fubuki said quietly.
The butler nodded and closed the door, but when no one was looking he locked it.
The inside was just grand, two staircases came down on either side creating sort of a circle like shape. The floor was shiny with creamy white tiles while the brown stairs contrasted. In the center, a huge chandelier hung, consisting of tiny little diamonds that shimmered in the light.
The overall feel of the house gave off a dark smooth evening feel.
The house looked like something straight out of a house magazine.
"Let's explore!" Aiger took off but before he could get through the doorway the butler stood in the doorway.
"Follow me."
The butler lead Aiger and co. to the dining room.
Inside the dining room was a long table lined up with chairs. White paneling covered half of the walls while a beautiful chandelier was in the middle.
