"3.."

"2.."

"1.."

"Let it rip!"

"Solarium Launch."

By tilting her launcher Vahagn picked up speed going around the outside while the Knight took up the center.

"Blazing Burn!" Vahagn sped up and collided with Arctic Knight.

The Knight flew out of the stadium and landed next to Kiara's feet.

Kiara frowned with Valerie was smirking.

"I guess I have the upper hand now."

"I guess so but we're both tied and I'm going to burst you and end this."

"We'll see about that."

Narrowing her eyes she got into her launching stance.

"We'll see."

A dark aura surrounded Valerie and Kiara did the same getting there message. This was the real battle.

"Let it Rip!"

The minute both beys flew into the stadium they collided endlessly. At the moment it was hard to see who had the upper hand.

"Vahagn!"

"Arctic Knight!"

They collided once again in a duel of energy. Both avatars were behind their masters. Arctic Knight was a tall slender knight with a sword and a shield. It gave off an icy stare to Vaughn.

While Vaughn was a knight riding a dragon. The knight had their sword pointed while the dragon just roared.

Then they collided in a storm of energy, wind and otherworldly dangers. It was a fierce battle and neither side was giving up.

Fubuki had fallen and was now sitting on the ground watching the whole thing. Kiara was covering her face while Valerie just watched. White and purple lighting came flying out of the stadium.

Then it died down and the sound of a burst was heard. Except it sounded different. Lying in the middle of the stadium were the broken pieces of Arctic Knight. Kiara was speechless and Valerie picked up her bey.

Kiara got down on her knees, her hands were trembling. She slowly picked up the pieces holding them in her hands. Tears were starting to show. She quickly wiped them away and put on her hood. Stuffing the pieces in her pocket she walked off.

"So Fubuki do you still want to head to the tournament together? We still have time to show those Underground Bladers that we're better than them."

Fubuki lowered his head.

"How could you Valerie! I thought you were better than this. The Valerie I know would never break beys. Or work with Phi and Theodore."

"So then I guess I can stop pretending then. Well it was fun while it lasted. But I must know how you figure it out?"

"Kiara she told me everything."

"Huh, I'm not surprised she was always a tattle tale of the three of us. Well then I guess I'll see you around Fubuki."

And with that Valerie walked off in the other direction.

"That's it?"

Valerie turned around pretending to be surprised.

"No "I'm sorry", not even a hint of guilt from you? You and I were so tight Valerie, but then you just decided to abandon everyone."

At this point Fubuki's energy was starting to spike. His eyes were glowing again and his aura was surrounding him. Valerie resisted the urge to smile.

"You used me Valerie, and what worse is I don't even know what you told me was true or not. But the funny thing is, Shu warned me about you when I had a nightmare. I came into his room and tried to convince me otherwise. But I refused to believe you were corrupted. I knew that's not who you are. But I guess I was wrong."

Fubuki's energy died down.

"You know at one point I liked you."

Fubuki turned away running after Kiara leaving Valerie sitting there.

Valerie wished she admitted it but her feelings for Fubuki were true despite what side she was on. Originally she was just supposed to take care of Fubuki and converted him to their side. But instead she got sidetracked. She just couldn't do it.

After meeting up with Kiara she took Fubuki to the town's limits. The whole time the pair was walking Kiara was silent. Before she didn't really talk that much but now she wasn't even showing emotion let alone sadness. Instead she was angry more than anything. Fubuki tried to say something to break the tension but he didn't know what to do.

"Here we are, the Dread Tower is above these mountain peaks. Although I'd suggest resting before you go in there they changed the place and you need to be on full alert."

"Hey Kiara."

"Yeah." She asked, turning away.

"I'm sorry about Arctic Knight."

"It's fine." She turned around and cracked a tiny smile. Then just as it appeared it disappeared.

"Go beat Phi and show the world our way of blading and after you beat him you still owe me a battle."

Fubuki nodded his head and started hiking but then he stopped and turned back around.

"Thanks Kiara."

"Of course."

Kiara took off running and jumped off the cliff. Fubuki looked down to see if she was okay. Taking out a crossbow from the cloak she swung along the buildings like Spider Man.

After watching her swing through the buildings she eventually disappeared and Fubuki kept going climbing the peaks with his hands.

He wasn't going to give up.

Then after a while he reached the top of the peaks. Fubuki had rumors that Free used to train there but he didn't know that they were true. Sliding down in the center of Free's old camp was a gauntlet that looked like Free's. It was standing up and it's straps were blowing in the wind.

Overall the scene was just creepy. But Fubuki decided to use the camp despite its eerie feel.

Setting down his bag Fubuki made a fire and started setting up camp. Now that Valerie was gone Fubuki felt lonely. But that didn't stop him from making s'mores.

After finishing up dinner Fubuki dangled his legs over the cliff looking out to the sky.

Fubuki was still upset that he lost his friend. Fubuki had always considered Valerie to be like a sister but now he didn't know anymore. But despite losing a friend Fubuki had also gained a new one. Kiara the leader.

Just then his phone buzzed.

Another missing blader!

Taking out his phone Fubuki looked at the news.

"Xander Shakadera and Ren Wu Sun have gone missing! Who will be the next to go missing!"
