Set in modern day life, but with quite a change in todays society's standards.Especially in London. London had reverted back to their 19th century ways, and gothic Lolita fashion was all the rage. One day (Reader) (Last Name), an aristocrat who's fa...

"James! I'm so glad you're here!" Oliver cheered. "Oliver, darling. I don't think that's James." (Reader) spoke sympatheticly. "Yes it is. Look, he has the same black spot under his wing!" Oliver smiled. "Just like James!"
(Reader) couldn't bring herself to argue with small and pure boy, so she simply let it go. "Oh, I see it." (Reader) smiled. "Will he be joining us?" She asked. "Of course!" Oliver giggled, as he held out a finger for the bird to land on.
Once the bird, whose name was James, had landed on Oliver's finger he set off to join Fukase and Piko; Flower and (Reader) walking behind him. "Who's James?" Flower asked, obvious concern in her voice. "He's Oliver's pet bird." (Reader) smiled in response. "Oh." Flower hummed.

The five, plus James, continued down the path towards the Distortionist. As they still needed a weapon, even more so now that their ultimate destination was the White Palace. As they headed down the the dirt path, for what felt like hours, (Reader) began to notice a change in atmosphere.
From what (Reader) saw, Wonderland was quite beautiful - blue skies, swirly white clouds, clear air, a warm breeze, along with several green and healthy plants. But the atmosphere had changed drasticly. Instead of clear skies, there were gray skies, with a thin layer of fog beginning to take form. The air began to grow cold as all the plants slowly began to die, or were already dead.
As (Reader) continued to walk through the thin, cold fog, she began to notice something else. She looked down and saw that she was no longer stepping on rocks, leaves, and twigs; but rather glass, more precisely, shattered glass. The sound of crunching leaves had been completely replaced by the sound of glass being scratched and further broken.
"We're getting very close." Flower's voice came out cold. "Close to where?" (Reader) asked as she wrapped her arms around Oliver, who had raced to her side once he noticed the fog. "To the Distortionist." Flower spoke, the word Distortionist rolling off her tongue - causing the feeling of ominosity to become even greater than it was before.
And as if right on cue, a dark building appeared out of the fog. (Reader) looked at the sign the was held by two rusty chains, watching as it slowly swung back and forth; creating a faint creaking sound. "It reads... The Distortionist, Royal Blacksmith." (Reader) read out loud. "We're here." Piko spoke. "Flower, do you still have the Vorpirial Amathysian stone?" He asked. Flower nodded, pulling out the glowing blue stone. "Good."
Flower walked over to (Reader) and softly grabbed her hand. "Whatever you do, do not let this go. Keep it held tightly in your hand. Alright?" Flower whispered, placing the glowing stone in (Reader)'s hand. She looked into Flower's calm, magenta eyes; the butterflies in her stomach growing increasingly more, the longer Flower's hand lingered on (Reader)'s.
(Reader) nodded her head, to nervous to speak, and watched as Flower walked over to open the door. (Reader) glanced over at Fukase, who was smirking at her whilst wiggling his eyebrows up and down. She stared at him with a face of confusion, her mouth agape. She sighed and shook her head, the butterflies in her stomach flitting away as quickly as possible.
(Reader), Oliver, Flower, Piko, Fukase, and James walked through the red and black hallway, careful as to not cut themselves on the countless shards of glass lying about. The hallway was littered with a variety of different mirrors, all with black sheets covering them. (Reader) got curious as to what was under the sheets. She let her curiosity get the best of her, and decided to pull the sheet off one of the the floor length mirrors.
As she reached out to grab the sheet to pull it off, she felt a hand grab her wrist. "Just what. Do you think you're doing?" A deep voices growled. And within the blink of an eye, (Reader) was wipped around to come face to face with someone much taller than her. Her breathing quickned as she took in every aspect of the man in front of her.
(Reader) assumed he was in his very early twenties, as he was very young looking. He had very pale, almost white skin, and white poofy hair that barely reached his shoulders. (Reader) was shocked to see the boys waist. 'I'm wearing a corset, and even my waist isn't that small.' (Reader) thought to herself. "Let her go, Christopher." Flower's powerful voice rang out, making (Reader)'s heart skip a beat. The boy, named Christopher, let go of her wrist and took a few steps backwards. (Y'all I'm an idiot, I just tried to spell Christopher without the h for like five times in a row. AND QUESTIONING WHY IT WAS SPELLED WRONG! Smh)
"Are you alright?" Flower asked, resting her hands on (Reader)'s shoulders. "Yes. I'm fine." She nodded, her cheeks a dusty shade of pink. "Do you still have the stone?" Flower lowered her voice. "Yes." (Reader) clutched the stone tighter, moving her hand up to her chest; showing that she still had it. "Good," Flower sighed. "I-I'm glad you're not hurt." She smiled.
Flower and (Reader) heard shuffling of feet away. They turned their attention over to where the sound was coming from, only to see the pasty boy kneeling in front of Flower with his head down. (Reader) looked at Flower, whose face was covered with fear, then back at Christopher. "Chris, please. Don't. Say. Any-" Flower breathed. "My apologies, Princess Flower. If I had known she was your acquaintance, I would never have layed a hand on her. Please, spare my head. I ment no ill will towards her."
"Princess? Spare his head? Flower! What is this man on abou-" (Reader) looked over at Flower, her mind riddled with questions yet again. Her eyes widdened as she saw tears stream dow Flower's face. "I told you, Christopher. I hate my full title. With every fiber of my being."
