"(Reader)! (Reader)!" Oliver chortled with joy. "Mhm?" (Reader) sighed, waking up from her nap.  She had been resting on the couch , as she was rather tired from helping her mother put up decorations.

"What is it, Oliver?" (Reader) mumbled, whilst rubbing her eyes. "The tree! It's so big! And bright! And pretty!" He yelled the last part. "Oh, did Mother and Father finish putting up the decorations on the tree?" (Reader) asked. Oliver aggressively nodded in response.

"Well then, let's go check it out." (Reader) stood up, and began to head towards the fairly large tree in the greeting room. "Wait!" Oliver cried, as he pulled on the skirt of (Reader)'s dress. "What?" (Reader) turned around to look at the young boy, who now had a saddened look on his face.

"Pick me up, please." Oliver smiled. "Sure." (Reader) kneeled down and lifted the five year old into the air. Oliver hugged her tightly, as (Reader) carried him to the greeting room. "Goodness, you're getting to be rather heavy." (Reader) wheezed. "Momma says I'm a big boy now!" He threw his arms up and smiled.

"Indeed you are." (Reader) giggled. "Here we are. I'm going to put you down now, alright." (Reader) began to place Oliver on the floor, when he began fussing. "No! I don't want to stand! I want you to carry me!" He whined.

"But you're so heavy. I can't hold you forever." (Reader) spoke softly, attempting to calm him down. "No!" Oliver screamed. "Mother!" (Reader) called for help. "I don't wanna walk! I don't wanna walk!" Oliver began to hit (Reader). Of course it wasn't very hard, but he still attempted to hit her.

"Oliver, you know hitting isn't allowed. It's Christmas time. So if you misbehave, Santa's going to give you a lump of coal." (Reader) spoke in a slightly stern voice. "No toys?" Oliver sniffled. "Not one."

"Oh no. I don't want coal. I'm a good boy." Oliver shook his head, while yawning. "What on Earth is going on in her?" Elizabeth's voice called out. "Momma!" Oliver softly cheered. "Mother." (Reader) jumped slightly.

"What was the fuss about?" Elizabeth stared down at her two children. "Nothing. Oliver was just sad, that's all." (Reader) spoke frantically, worried she was about to get into trouble.

"Momma I'm sleepy." Oliver rubbed his eyes. "Give him to me. I'll put him down for bed." Elizabeth opened her arms, to hold her son. Oliver grabbed onto Elizabeth, and rested his head on her shoulder. (Reader) watched as the two began to leave.

"Oliver." (Reader) mumbled as she slowly opened her eyes, to see an unfamiliar room. "Oh good. You're awake. I was worried sick." A voice spoke softly, but frantically. (Reader) felt someone's weight on the bed she was laying on, and turned to look at who it was. And to her relief, it was Flower.

"Flower! Where's Oliver!?" (Reader) asked. It took her a moment to remember what had happened, and when she did, she felt a pit in her stomach. "Is he alright!? Did you find him!? Where am I!?" (Reader) mind was filled to the brim with questions, but she could only get a few out.

"We don't know." Flower answered. (Reader) felt tears prick at her eyes upon hearing Flower's answer. "You went looking for him after he bolted, and couldn't find him. You ended up wondering into a snake pit, and got bit. We assume you passed out rather quickly." Flower stopped for a breath, and scooted close to (Reader).

"It took us some time. But we found you lying on the ground, unconscious and bleeding from you left leg. So we took you to a hotel, after Piko healed your wound." Flower finished. "And you didn't think to look for Oliver!" (Reader) began to cry.

"Piko and Fukase are out looking for him right now. I decided to stay behind, in case you woke up while we were looking for him." (Reader) nodded slowly. "Please stop crying." Flower spoke softly, while gently wiping a tear off (Reader)'s cheek. (Reader) was so worried on Oliver, that she hadn't realized she began crying.

"Distract me." (Reader) spoke, her voice cold. "How so?" Flower asked, rather confused by what (Reader) had meant. "Do something, anything, to help take my mind off things." (Reader) stared into Flower's eyes. "Give me a suggestion." Flower responded, her face emotionless as always. She had something in mind, but was worried it would worsen the situation. "Kiss me." (Reader) answered quickly.

Flower felt her face heat up slightly as (Reader) began to kiss her in a rather passionate manner. Flower placed her hands on (Reader)'s  waist, as (Reader) deepened the kiss.

(Author's note)
My deepest apologies for not updating in a while. I know most of you don't care, but I do. I'm going to make this short. I have two very needy dogs in the room with me. Swamped with work and school, so there's no time for writing. Which is a shame. My dad commissioned me for art, so I've been working on stuff for him as well. And it's tres reyes magos, so I have that too. Busy life, busy boy. Doesn't help that I'm having Prompto withdraws. But uh, thanks for reading.
