"Is she already awake?" I faintly heard with my senses slowly going back.

I slowly opened my eyelids because it felt heavy. I'm sure it's because I've been crying so much. As I opened my eyes, I saw a white ceiling. Wait, my ceiling wasn't white. My eyes roamed my eyes and I'm still dizzy.

"Anak..." I heard my Dad's voice.

"Dad, a-am I in t-the hospital?" my voice was raspy.

"Oo, nasa ospital ka. Ano bang nangyari anak? Sabi ng Doctor masasabi niya lang daw ang resulta kapag nagising ka kase kailangan niya ng confirmation mo." he softly said.

"It w-was n-nothing, Dad." I can't say it but I have a hint....

We waited for a few minutes and the doctor came in. She greeted us and asked me a few questions. I still can't recognize my voice because it was raspy.

"I need to ask you a few questions before I confirm my hunch. So, how are you?" she asked me first.

"I still f-feel a l-little dizzy b-but I'm f-fine...." I answered.

"Before you passed out, what did you feel? How does it feel? Do you recall?" she carefully asked me again.

"I f-feel like m-my head is t-throbbing so b-badly. My chest t-tightens and I h-had a difficulty in b-breathing. My mind j-just went b-blank..." I explained to her.

"Do you feel the urge of hurting yourself to put aside the emotional pain you've felt?" I was triggered with her question but I silently nodded.

"Do you felt like you can't stop it? That you lost control over it?" she asked again and like the last, I just nodded silently.

"Sir may I ask? Did she had a traumatic accident or something?" she turned her gaze to my father.

"Yes. She was involved in an accident 4 years ago and she lost her mother and best friend there." my father directly answered.

"Hmm, it seems like your daughter is suffering from Obssesive-Compulsive Disorder or OCD." I think I turned pale with what she said and everyone on the room has their eyes on me.

"Enlighten us, Doktora. Ano po yung OCD?" tanong ni Tita Miles.

"Obssessive-Compulsive Disorder is a type of anxiety. It is characterized by unwanted thoughts or behaviors that seem impossible to stop or control. Ibigsabihin po noon, yung nangyari sa kanya kanina ay tinatawag na anxiety attack. She fainted due to her long cries and the pain she felt that her body automatically get tired." she explained.

"Pero, hindi naman po namin alam na may ganoon siya?" pagsingit pa ni Tito Eric.

"Maybe because she had her attacks when no one is around or maybe it depends on how worse her trigger can be. Saka po, most people who suffer from anxiety tends to keep it to theirselves." she continued.

"Ano pong magagawa namin?" tanong naman ni Frost.

"The best thing to do is to get medical help. Since you are already here, I'll refer you to a pyschiatrist. But for now, all we have to do is to keep an eye on her. Let's remove any harmful objects around her and be careful on the things she see nor hears because it may be sensitive or may be a trigger in her part. Let's give her a healthy foods and as long as you're here in the hospital, rest well." she advised to everyone of us.
