H Series : Healing the Girl named Lime

"Iho, uuwi ka na ba talaga ng Pilipinas? Do you want us to come?" Mom asked me.

"Oo nga, Kuya. Gusto ko na din umuwi." pag gatong pa ni Frost.

"It's ok, Mom. Legal na ako so I can travel alone. Saka Dad will fetch me at the airport." they gave me a small smile which is a sign of defeat.

I zipped my luggage and checked my bags for anything that I missed. I will come back home to the Philippines. I haven't been there for like 9 years? I guess?

Mom drove me to the airport with Frost. We are chattering and Frost saying I'll have to make sure to buy him his Filipino food delicacies cravings. What a spoiled 11 year old. When we reached the airport, I have to say goodbye already.

"Bye, Mom. Ingat kayo dito. Always lock the door." I kissed Mom on her forehead and leave for a last hug.

"Bantayan mo si Mommy. Wag kang makulit ha?" bilin ko kay Frost at pabirong nagsalute.

Mukha siyang ewan.

Mommy was crying when I left and the next thing I knew, I am one with the clouds. I am inside the airplane waiting to land in my home for the last 9 years.

After almost 17 hours of flying across the world, I've reach my motherland. As I got there, I already saw Dad beforehand. He welcomed me with a hug and ruffled m y hair saying I grew taller than him.

"Asan si Kuya?" I asked Daddy while he was driving home.

"Ahh, sinamahan si Tita mo magpacheck up. Si Tito mo kase ay pauwi pa lang galing business trip." I slightly nodded.

I took a nap on the way back. When I woke up, the surroundings were not clear anymore. It was pure darkness. I am already at our house  and I wonder if Lime remembers me or not. Is she even at home?

I tried to call Kuya Renzo about where he is already.

"Susunduin namin si Lime. Nakakapagtaka nga at nandoon sa bar kasama nina Jela at Maxine." he said.

I said that I will go to the bar and meet up with them and he said fine. But not in the bar, they'll stop at the nearest fast food so we'll meet there.
