THANIA'S POV:

Today is the day we've been waiting for, or should I say, I've been waiting for? I'm going to witness the wedding of my parents. And what I've said to Daddy last night, I'm going to hide on the place where the wedding singers are. I'll be the one to sing for them. It's 4 in the morning and I'm already done taking a bath. I'm just wearing a robe right now, magluluto lang ako ng breakfast namin.

MANANG: Good morning! Nakatulog ka ba nang maayos?

THANIA: Maga po ba mga mata ko?

MANANG: Medyo. Umiyak ka ba kagabi?

THANIA: Oh great! I'm not showing up naman po so okay lang.

MANANG: Bakit? Hindi ka ba pupunta sa kasal ng Mama't Papa mo?

I shook my head as I felt someone behind us, listening.

MANANG: Good morning, Reg.

REGINA: Morning, Manang.

MANANG: Sige mauna na muna ako sa inyo ha.

And we're the only one who left at the kitchen.

REGINA: Good morning, baby.

She hugged me from behind and kiss me on my head.

REGINA: Are you not going to witness the wedding? Did daddy wasn't able to convince you last night?

I put the food in the table and get a plate and utensils for us.

THANIA: Let's eat? You need to prepare for your wedding pa po. I'll be fine naman po dito sa bahay eh. I'll just take care of the venue.

REGINA: But you are part of it eh. Sino pa magiging partner ni Nathan kung wala ka?

THANIA: Aly will be my proxy. Everything is settled na po. Just enjoy the day!

REGINA: How can I enjoy the day kung wala ka naman doon?

THANIA: Simply because it's your wedding. And you'll be marrying the guy you loved the most. I can watch the video naman po.

REGINA: Pero iba naman yong nandon ka to witness the wedding, anak eh. Please come huh?

THANIA: I thought you don't want to talk to me 'cause I change your iPad's wallpapers.

REGINA: About that, ayaw ko naman talaga na sabihin yon eh. I just carried by my emotion. I'm sorry.

THANIA: Still, I don't have the picture yet. I still need to find it that's why I'm staying here. And for me to look after the venue if everything is fine or not.

She held my hands as she sobs.

REGINA: Please show up at the wedding. I wanna see you there, baby. Just give me this as your gift. Please?

I held her face as I wiped the tears away.

THANIA: You should stop crying. Reserve that tears for laters event. I'll try my best to be there. You better finish your food na para makaligo ka na. In an hour, your glam team will be here para ayusan ka.

REGINA: I'm not going if you're not going.

THANIA: Mom?! You should be there 'cause you are the most important person who must attend the wedding!

REGINA: And you are the most special one who must witness the wedding!!
