NIGHTMARE PT 2.
Lan Wangi stared out across from the small room at Wei Wuxian as he entered the room. The meal they had just finished had been delightful. Like almost every meal they had had here. The week that they had taken to recover had been much needed by all.
Even though they had not been injured it had taken a lot of energy to seal the cave and make sure that Daji would never again return in this lifetime or the next.
The quiet of this small market town had been the perfect reprieve.
Wei Wuxian made eye contact with him as he turned, a mischievous smile on his face. His eyes glowed bright.
Oh no. Lan Wangji thought to himself. Wei Ying had always been the mischievous type but when he made that face it always meant that he was up to something nefarious.
Lan Wangji summoned his Guqin and closed his eyes hovering one hand over the instrument.
"Lan Zhan are you trying to avoid me?" Wei Wuxian teased walking over to Lan Wangji and plopping down next to him.
Lan Wangji closed his eyes trying to concentrate. Wei Wuxian always knew just what to say to tease him to madness. His hands tightened against the strings below his hands, his brow twitching in the slightest. "No."
Wei Wuxian smiled evilly at him and circled close to him. His resounding steps circling around him like a cat stalking prey. Wei Wuxian knelt down his lips millimeters from Lan Wangji's ear "I don't believe you, Lan Zhan."
Lan Wangji's entire body shivered in anticipation as he felt the heat of Wei Wuxian's breath caress his ear and the sound of his name uttered from those supple lips. He concentrated on every movement, his heart beating in his chest. Wei Ying was never this forward, yet...It excited him.
"Wei Ying." Lan Zhan muttered, barely a whisper as his voice broke.
"Lan Zhan. You are a jewel meant to be cherished by only me."
Lan Wangji's eyes refused to open as his breath caught in his throat at the words. They were everything he wanted to hear but they felt so wrong. For a millisecond his brain tried to refute the words that he had heard but all thought escaped him as he felt the crushing lips upon his.
His brain went full mush as the heat of Wei Wuxian became everything in his senses. The beautiful and soft lips that he had come to love mashed into his hands and held his head in place as Wei Wuxian stole the deepest kiss. Wei Wuxian's tongue invaded his mouth hungrily and his hands delved into his hair and his body collapsed onto his lap narrowly missing the instrument below.
It was the most hot and heated kiss they had shared. It had felt like a leech sucking the life out of him and felt nothing like he had shared with Wei Wuxian before. This wasn't right. Lan Wangji thought.
He made to pull back from the contact to clear his head and to take a breather but Wei Wuxian's rough grip wouldn't relent.
This wasn't right...
Lan Wangji knew in that instant that something wasn't right...
He tried to push Wei Wuxian off of him but the hands around the back of his neck only seemed to grow tighter. "Wei Ying. Stop." Frustrated Lan Wangji grabbed Wei Wuxian's wrists and pulled them upwards. Wei Wuxian's eyes were barely open looking down to the ground. A sly smile on his lips. He looked...drunk...no that wasn't quite right.
"What Lan Wangji you don't want me?" his demeanor was nothing like the usual carefree Wei Ying. Alarm bells were ringing in Lan Wangji's head. Wei Wuxian began to struggle against the grip holding his wrists above his head, but the sly smile on his face and his lowered gaze continued.
