𝐀𝐒 𝐌𝐔𝐂𝐇 𝐀𝐒 Kat would have liked for the group from Saturday night to remain that laid back and relaxed around one another, she knew it couldn't happen.  That rang true on Monday morning when Kat led the group of cheerleaders and lacrosse players she usually ate lunch with to Scott, Stiles', and Spencer's table.  Kat set her tray down beside Stiles as he quietly reassured Scott of something, but she and Lydia only caught the last part of the conversation.

"No, you're not canceling, okay?" Stiles reassured him, "You can't just cancel your entire life.  We'll figure it out."

"Figure what out?" Lydia asked, settling beside Scott and looking expectantly between her friend's brother and his friends.

The boys were dead silent, unable to hide their shocked expressions as Allison, Lexi, Jackson, and Danny settled at their table.

Spencer quietly whispered to Scott and Stiles, "Why is she sitting with us?"

Kat shrugged and motioned to Allison, "Allison said that you were saving her a seat today, Scott.  Is this okay?"

Scott nodded, but Spencer was still wondering why Lydia agreed to it. "But, she's Lydia Martin, and she hasn't even looked our way in the ten years we've known her."

"Oh, Spence, stop being so dramatic.  Now's your chance to ogle over her up close and personal; take advantage of it." Kat winked and nudged Stiles' shoulder before focusing on Jackson, who was standing at the head of the table.

Jackson stared down at the lacrosse player seated beside Lydia, "Get up."

"How come you never ask Danny to get up?" The boy complained, motioning to the guy seated beside Kat.

Danny smirked at the rest of the table before responding with a witty comment, "Because I don't stare at his girlfriend's coin slot."

Lydia grinned at Danny as the lacrosse player in Jackson's seat reluctantly moved, and Jackson sat down.  Danny winked before bringing up the popular topic of conversation of the day.  There had been an attack on one of the school buses, and it had been the buzz around the school since the principal's announcement.  Kat couldn't go one class period without hearing another theory of what the students thought attacked the person on the bus. "So I hear they're saying it's some type of animal attack.  Probably a cougar."
