𝐀𝐅𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐅𝐑𝐎𝐍𝐓𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 with Derek and the Tacky Twins, Scott downloaded the Argent family's bestiary onto his laptop and forwarded it to Kat.  The McCall girl spent most of the night trying to read through the bestiary for answers on what she could possibly be.  Finally, with the explanation of the giant lizard, Kat felt that she could finally focus on what she was, but the Argent's bestiary wasn't helping as much as she had hoped it would.  She primarily was going off of the pictures, but there were a few words she was able to translate.  However, despite her exhaustive efforts (mainly with Google Translate), there was very little she was able to find.  The closest thing she could find was an unidentified creature with eyes that changed to green while using their powers.  She knew that Latin was known as the dead language for a reason, but she didn't think it would be that impossible to transcribe.

Being tired had become Kat's new thing, just as much as being her friend group's resident overachiever.  However, she was still trying to keep her non-supernatural activities relevant in her life.  Early morning cheer practice -- check.  Meeting with Lydia to double-check their homework and make sure it was all correct -- check.  Settling in the library for a quick review of her study guides for the day -- check.  Being confronted by newly turned werewolf Isaac Lahey while reviewing her study guides -- check.

Kat had her headphones in her ears, music playing loudly to drown out any outside noise, and neatly transferring her notes from one notebook to the other.  She was quickly solving the practice equations on her homework when the chair across from her was pulled out from the table, and a body slid into it.  Kat pulled an earbud out and opened her mouth to kindly ask whoever had disrupted her to leave, but her words became trapped in her throat.  Isaac Lahey casually leaned back in the chair across from Kat, a leather jacket resting over his broad shoulders and a smirk on his pale lips.

Isaac arched a brow at the McCall girl and leaned forward onto his elbows, a hand picking up Kat's pen so he could twirl it in his fingers.  Kat thickly swallowed, unable to distinguish how she felt about the situation.  If Isaac was back in school, that could only mean that he was no longer a fugitive, which meant that Jackson had retracted his statement about Isaac to Sheriff Stilinski.  All four of Derek's betas were now at school, and Kat just knew that things would get worse.

"I wanted to ask you a question, Kat." Isaac began, his eyes trained on the pen in his hand as he spoke.  Kat made a slight noise to tell him to continue, and the McCall girl subconsciously closed herself off from the werewolf in front of her by crossing her arms over her chest and wiping any emotion off of her face.  Isaac set the pen down and met Kat's eyes, "I've been gone from school for a while, so I'm really behind.  Especially in chemistry.  I was wondering if you'd help me catch up?"
