Spiraling

Chapter 6

They arrived in Suna and Naruto quickly motioned the Akimichi Clan to their posts before he was led to the Kazekage's office. Naruto knew the Kazekage was around his age along with Shikamaru's friends but he still addressed Gaara by his title. He was brought up right and they weren't friends. He broke down the plan in simple terms and could tell the young leader was impressed with his layout and offered his ninja in a heartbeat. Once he was finished with deploying them he retired to sleep, he was sharing a room with Shikamaru and Kiba but as soon as he got in the room he fell asleep.

He could hear the conversation going on but his body was asleep and he had no intention of waking it, so he listened to them.

"How do you think this is going to end?" Kiba asked worriedly. Shikamaru sighed as he looked over at the sleeping Naruto, the blond looked so innocent in his sleep.

"I really don't know but if Naruto's plan works then all will be well," Shikamaru said confidently.

"How can he sleep in a situation like this? Lucky bastard doesn't have anything to lose from this?" Kiba snarled a bit jealous. 

"Hey don't say that, you don't know Naruto." The Nara snapped, Kiba looked taken aback for a moment before nodding his head in surrender.

"Sorry I don't know the weight of my words sometimes." Kiba said quietly.

Shikamaru shook his head a small smile on his face, "No it's okay, no harm." 

Naruto had to hold back a snort as he felt his consciousness sink deeper until he tuned them out eventually.

Naruto woke up around the night time and was surprised to see Shikamaru reading a book, he sat up and pulled his muscles loose of sleep before yawning. He got up and noted Kiba was dead asleep and walked over to Shikamaru who was looking at him curiously. Naruto stood between his legs and leaned down towards his face. Naruto enjoyed the blush that covered his face more than he should.

He has always fucked women but yet the Nara gave the aura of a woman which made him want to fuck Shikamaru. He noticed this aura when they first met eyes, it was damn near hard to not want to pull his hair out of that fucking ponytail and pull on it till his neck broke. Cruel as it might be, it was Naruto's ideal for a partner. He wanted a little blood on the sheets when he was done.

Part of him knew not to fuck with the Nara because his father would try to rip his head off, but where was the fun in leaving him alone. All that slightly tanned skin left unmarked, he knew the Nara. Shikamaru only had one love interest Temari Subaku. The Kazekage's sister, such a shame he could see the girl had a thing for the shadow-nin but sadly Naruto had the uncontrollable urge to fuck it up.

Later if he found a moment for them to be compromising, for now he was hungry. He reigned in his focus back on the Nara who seemed to be holding his breath. "Shikamaru I'm hungry, follow me for food." 

"Naruto," Shikamaru said softly and with a tinge of disappointment. Naruto's eyes quirked at this, he was thankful years with Ibiki and Inoichi yielded results in his perfection of body language. He almost smirked when he read the Nara's. He was aroused by the lack of distance but he wouldn't jump him. Not now anyways.

Shikamaru got up and led the blond to a dining area in the building that still was serving food, Naruto got desserts as his sweet tooth was acting up, Shikamaru didn't go for anything and opted to read beside him. Naruto ate as he read over Shikamaru's shoulder, after he was finished they headed back to their room.

Before they could enter the room Sasuke ran up panting, it was obvious he just came in from the battle field. Naruto looked at him expectantly as he calmed himself down. "We got them," Naruto froze and a smile made it's way on his face.

"Kishiroki and Takahashi are in our grasps." Sasuke clarified. Naruto felt awake in an instant and motioned for Sasuke to show him. 

"Shikamaru you wanna come along or go sleep?" Naruto asked as he began walking again, Shikamaru shook his head and headed back into the room.
