Chapter 21: Dreadful Day

Myra's Point Of View....

Today is my 20th birthday....

I was so curious to find out what gift Aaron got for me. He was gone for so many days to get this gift and now I am wearing his gift. This mirror speaks how much he loves me. I'm really blessed to have him. His love can never be doubted. He always loved me unconditionally.

"Happy birthday Myra" I heard a male voice wishing me.

I was stunned to hear Aaron's voice in my bedroom. How did he come here? I turned around hastily and looked at him with surprised expression. I ran and hugged him! He hugged me back with such a grace.

"Thank you so much Love!" I exclaimed with happiness. His body stiffened for a moment but he didn't say anything. I felt a bit strange. I raised my head and looked in his eyes. Something about it was different but yet similar. Maybe I'm overthinking.

"I have to tell you something...." Aaron said with a serious expression.

What happened? Why is he so serious? I nodded. He took a step back and looked at me and asked, "How much do you love me?"

"More than my life!" I answered without a second thought.

"Then will you sacrifice your life for me?" he asked.

He would never ask me of anything like that until it really is something serious. But I had no doubts regarding this so I replied.

"If it causes your happiness then without a second thought I will" I said with all my heart by looking straight in his eyes. He took a deep breath and after a while he looked at me and started speaking.

"I am the Merciless Prince of Hell,
Son of King of Underworld Hades,
Commander of the Underworld Army,
Zaiden The Great!"

he said by putting emphasis on every important word and simultaneously changing his complete appearance into something out of this world which was scary and attractive at the same time!

Atmosphere in this room changed completely from peace to coldness. I shivered at this. He was beyond handsome. If he was son of evil then why was he not scary looking? Why was his aura not negative?

I haven't turned into a werewolf yet to confirm if he was my mate but mates always know in some way that they are mates and that's exactly how I and Aaron always knew we were each other's mates.

But why today I no longer feel that vibe from him like I do everyday?

"This is my reality.

"You are not Aaron? You are not a human?" I stuttered.

"No.
My name is not Aaron.
I lied to you.
My real name is Zaiden.
I am an immortal because of my parents.
I was always afraid to tell you truth.
Afraid that you would not accept me for who I am.
Afraid you would reject me.
Just because I was born in Hell to be it's prince is it fair to conclude that I am not allowed to be in Love with someone?"

It broke my heart. The way he felt was miserable. Now I understand why he hid it from me but that doesn't change my feelings for him. I know I love him. I went forward and hugged him. He was surprised but he hugged me back with a smile.

"My feelings for you will never change Aaron....I mean I love you very much..... Zaiden" I said with all my heart but somewhere I had a glitch inside. I don't know why but it seems wrong. But I pushed back this thought as soon as it came.
