mako wasn't paying much attention as she walked on her way to school. since the months had been getting warmer, they had been forced to wear their summer uniforms, and she had to make sure that no one saw the scars on her arms.
no, she had never harmed herself like that before. but living in ikebukuro left a person scarred. for some, it was both mentally, and physically.
she had made it to her classroom, and was now sitting in her seat, listening to everyone discuss the class vs class thing. she ignored sighing ranting, and rolls her eyes when the octopus makes himself a baseball spectacle.
"hey, heiwajima-chan, do you plan on helping out with the basketball game?" nakamura asks during break, having made her way over. the blonde had become adamant about being her friend, lately, and while mako found it annoying, she admired the girl's effort. not many people actually took the time to try and befriend her.
the only reason she was "friends" with some of the people back in ikebukuro, was because they'd rather have her as a friend than a foe.
"no. i'm not good at basketball, so there's no point. good luck to you all, though."
the girls listening in sigh in disappointment, and mako leans back in her seat. she knows that the redhead is staring at her, smirking for some reason, but she would rather not give him the satisfaction of a reaction from her.
he's just a pain in her ass, and eventually, he'll stop bothering her.
hopefully.

"heiwajima, do you have any good luck wishes for me before i beat their asses?" karma taunts, and she rolls her eyes, ignoring him. he was trying to get her attention through the fence, hanging off of it, but she wasn't giving him the attention he so desired.
"karma-kun, come on! we're about to start!" nagisa calls for him, and the redhead lets out a disappointed sigh, giving her another smirk before wandering away.
"god, he's so annoying," she mutters.
she smirks as the baseball bitches and main campus assholes get upset and shit once the boys in her class do well, holding back her encouragement for them.
watching sugino hit the ball, she grins widely, giving the boy a small wave when his eyes glance over at her. his eyes widen, but he grins at her gesture, determined.
rolling her eyes annoyedly once seeing the principal on the field. she glares harshly at him, catching his attention, and he smirks back at her. she smirks and gives him a very rude gesture, making him frown, but he just smiles fakely and walks off the field.
she ignores any looks sent her way, frowning obviously when her classmates start to do worse then the opposers. she knows the principal was being a dickhead and "encouraging" them, but it's not like she can do anything about it.
"hey, what'd we miss, heiwajima-chan?" kataoka asks, and she sighs.
"the principal has decided to be an even bigger asshole by basically manipulating the kids into playing harder. it's smart, but he's a cunt, so i'm not giving him credit for it." they all look shocked at her blunt opinion on the principal, but they can't exactly disagree with the girl, so they just turn back to the game.
