KANG BYEOL POV
His hand slips away from mine slowly as he turns to leave. What the hell was that?
As the door closes Kimchi comes over nudging me to move. He almost sounded like he was pleading for help and it confuses me more than anything. What happened to his whole king persona?
Trying not to think much of it I carry on with my day, hoping everything'll be back to normal now that he's talking to me again.

"Okay, this has got to be the stupidest idea you've ever had."
Haru flips me off unaapreciatively. "Come on, it's senior year. Take a few risks, ya boring."
"Okay," I say with ease, causing her eyebrows to raise.
"Just like that? Really?" She asks.
"Yeah, I just wanted to be able to say at least I resisted."
The group laughs, Haru patting my back hard. "Now that's the Kang Byeol I know!"
I smile, adrenaline pumping in my veins. Yoongi briefs us all again just to make sure. "Okay, once the lunch bell rings we make a run for it. Kookie you're driving, right?"
Before he can respond the deafening ring begins, all of us losing our shit as we make a run for it. Everyone in the hallway looks at us as if we're mad, hollering and leaving the campus mid-cirriculum. "Hey, what do you think you're doing!" The security guard shouts at us.
I make the mistake of looking back and slowing down, Jungkook barely grabbing me away from the guard and pulling me into the car. "Kang almost Kamikazed us!" he laughs as we successfully drive away.
"Fuck yeah! This is what senior year should feel like every day!" Jimin shouts excitedly.
I try to push away the heat creeping in my cheeks from when Jeon saved me from the guard and continue staring out the window in awe.
"My seat feels bumpy."
"That's because you're sitting on me."
"Oh, my bad Kang."
"Well you can't expect a smooth ride when you've got like ten people packed in a car," I giggle at Namjoon.
I accidentally look in the driver's mirror and see Jungkook tear his gaze away.
