The big doors slam shut, everyone flinching at the loud sound. We're now the only ones in the lobby, everyone swallowing the thick tension in the air.

"I hate you," Chohee sniffles, although I'm not sure who exactly she's talking to.

Jungkooks sighs letting go of his grip on her forearm. "I'm sorry, Cho. I tried, okay? I've tried so fucking hard but I'm tired of this. I can't do this anymore."

"Don't you care about how I feel? Why are you doing this to me?" She shouts at him angrily. The venom laced in her voice let alone the audacity she has forces me out of the sidelines. I'm about to lash out at her when a hand pulls me back, Jungkook stepping in front of me protectively.

"That's the thing, Cho! I've always cared about how you feel. Fucking hell, that's the whole reason why I stayed with you! If I wanted to leave, you'd threaten me with either self-harm or you'll try to kill yourself. I'm sick of this! You need to get help not rely on me as if I'm some sort of fucking healer for your problems," Jungkook seethes.

Everyone around us gasps in shock, unaware of how bad the situation was before. Yoongi's looking down at his feet, unable to look at either of them.

"But you know I can't live without you. You know why I'm like this," her voice quivers, calming Jungkook's breathing.

"Remember when we met at the bar? I'd just gotten out of an abusive relationship. You helped me cope through it all, remember that Kook?" She pleads.

He avoids her aching gaze and remains silent. "Every guy I'd ever been with has always used me for personal gain. Whether it was money or sex, it never mattered. You were the first one to truly have feelings for me. Where did that all go?" She takes a step forward.

"It's gone, Cho. I'm sorry but you were the one that killed that part of me," his eyes lift up to meet hers once more.

"No," she begins to breathe heavily.

"You started taking more and more away from me until I felt nothing but obligation towards you. Only now do I realise I don't owe you anything. I was there for you, and you took advantage of me to make yourself feel whole. That isn't what love is, you can't feel love if you're only selfish towards yourself."

"No Kook please," she reaches out for him.

"We were never truly happy together. Just face it, we were never meant to be."

Both of them were panting heavily, overwhelmed with every pent up emotion beginning to spill. In a quick swerve she snaps her head towards me, the look of hatred so dark in her eyes. "It's funny how you've suddenly realised all this because of her, isn't it?"

Everyone now turns their heads toward me. They're nothing short of shocked, but I keep my gaze at her.

"I can't believe she's managed to weave her way around you like a snake! You used to complain about her all the time, don't you remember that?"

I roll my eyes my eyes at that but catch Jungkook's small smile creeping up in his features. "Yeah, I do. But a lot has changed since then, Chohee. She's taught me a lot about myself, I know now my worth and I deserve to be happy. And it isn't with you, it's with her." He walks toward me, taking my hand in his.

My face grows red as he stares at me with the universe in his eyes. "She's my only ticket to happiness, Chohee. And I'm in for the ride the whole way."

A sly smile spreads across her features before spitting the venom that burns a hole in my heart deeply. "Are you sure you're ready for that? Her parents must've left her for a reason after all."

"You have no right to talk about me like that," I warn her lowly. If looks could kill I'm sure as fuck she'd be dead in her spot right now.

The lobby grows even quieter, the silence dropping a level even lower. I look at her with pained eyes, and she knows she's gotten to me. "You will not speak about me like that when you're no better. We all have problems, Kim Chohee. Wake the fuck up! At least I'm dealing with mine and making myself better. What are you doing? Pulling Jungkook with you into your spiral of problems just because you feel like it."

Her face pales and her eyes grow two-fold. "T-this is really happening, isn't it?" A tear trickles down her face.

"Goodbye, Chohee. I'm sorry things had to go this way," Jungkook begins walking away back to our group, tightening his hold on my hand. Everyone stares at us with saddened eyes, a mix of emotions running through their features.

"Don't go, please."

She drops to her knees as her voice strains, the pain and desperation in them almost getting to us. Jungkook gulps down, speaking to her without turning around.

"Not this time. Never again."

We walk away from the painful scene, doing our best to ignore the sobbing resonating behind us. Everyone walks back to their room in thick silence, all feeling the effect of the heavy and intense emotional spillage from before. I turn to Jungkook, wanting to ask if he's okay but the blank expression on his face tells me otherwise.
