KANG BYEOL POVI forgot how noisy bowling alleys can be. The sound of pins being knocked down resonate in every corner.
I can't help but seethe as Chohee sits on Jungkook's lap, eyeing me secretly every now and then. "I haven't been to a bowling alley in so long I think I pretty much suck at it," I pout looking at Kyeongso choosing a bowling ball.
"Don't worry about it. Here I'll show you how it's done," he smiles down on me.
I take the bowling ball from his hand as he moves to stand behind me. I walk up to the lane, following his stance. "Now hold the ball like this," he positions my fingers on the ball. I can't help but blush as our skin touches with him so close to me. I follow quickly, watching as he demonstrates how to throw a good aim.
I knock eight pins down scoffing excitedly, him applauding me from behind. "Not bad, Kang! I knew you could do it," He rushes up and holds my side, kissing my temple quickly. I walk back to sit down, seeing Jungkook look away immediately with an unreadable expression on his face.
"Aw, you kids are so cute together. Aren't they Kook?" Chohee grins teasingly looking expectantly to her boyfriend.
"Yeah, real cute," he grumbles.
I shift uncomfortably back on the bench, feeling Kyeongso's stare at the side of my face. Jungkokok stands up proudly moving forward to his turn. "Watch how the king does it, Kang."
Almost as easy as he picked up the 12kg ball, he rolls a strike effortlessly. If there's one thing I know about Jungkook it's that he's very competitive. Maybe that's the reason why he suggested we go to the bowling alley in the first place.
"Nice shot, Jeon," Kyeongso nods his head in slow admiration. Of course the other male lets it get to his head. "Yeah well you haven't seen the best yet. I bet I can outbowl you easy," he smirks.
"We'll see about that," Kyeongso scoffs. He's pretty good at bowling too, but Jungkook's not called king for nothing. The competition between them slowly became all that mattered. Even I had to agree with Chohee that we were bored of our two boyfriends playing against each other.

Soon enough we were here for hours. They were neck-to-neck with each other, buying game after game. Jungkook's visibly frustrated as he tenses up his jaw in annoyance while Kyeongso taps his foot impatiently. "Jungkook enough, I want to go home and cuddle with you," Chohee's whiny voice breaks the tension in the air.
I roll my eyes at her attempt to act cute. "Jungkook isn't the type to do that. I thought you knew this being his girlfriend and all," I blurt out without thinking. My eyes widen instantly, a state of shock washing over me as well as everyone else.
"And you know this... how? You have your own boyfriend," she narrows her eyes at me. I clench my fists tightly trying to control myself.
"Because... He's been my neighbour for eight years. I see how he is with his girlfriends." Half-truth.
I sneak a glance at the two boys now finished with their never-ending game, Jungkook looking down at his feet suppressing a smile.
"Well thanks for your concern kid, but if you haven't noticed he's my boyfriend and I get anything I want because I'm his girlfriend," she pokes my shoulder provoking me.
Kyeongso comes behind me holding my arm, knowing I'm about to blow up. "It's not worth it," he whispers calming me down.
I laugh at her childish behaviour. "You know for someone two years older than us you sure act like a brat all the damn time. Grow up and stop being so selfish."
She's about to slap me when Jungkook quickly pulls her away, looking at me shocked. "Okay, let's calm down for a while." Chohee lets out a screechy whine pointing at me accusingly. "Kook are you gonna let her talk to me like that?!"
He groans frustratedly, forcefully letting her arm go and standing in front of her. "She's right, Cho. I can't keep living like this! You can't keep doing this to me. I want to be happy."
"And you think your happiness is her?" She scoffs in disbelief. "You can play with any girl you want Kookie but it'll always be me in the end." She turns to me now, her eyes replaced with fiery slits. I hate to admit it, but it kind of scares me. I panic, looking frantically to Kyeongso.
"You think I didn't know about you two? Why don't you tell your boyfriend how you've had better fucks with mine," she snaps viscously.
My face pales as my hands begin to shake. "I-I didn't—"
Kyeongso steps forward protectively. "Hey, she isn't the type of girl to do that. You don't know her." I cling on to him tightly. I just want to leave.
"Clearly you don't either. It's pathetic you're still defending her."
"That's enough, Chohee!" Jungkook shouts, everyone in the bowling alley now turning to us.
She finally stops, the anger draining from her face into a flustered expression. "T-this isn't over." And with that she storms out of the bowling alley embarrassed.
I begin to panic further as I feel Kyeongso's grip on me loosen as he walks out without a word. I look to Jungkook, who seems pretty shaken up as he stares down at the floor. "Go after him, Byeol. I know you need to," he quietly tells me. My eyes soften at him, thankful that he understands. I'll deal with him later, but I really need to go.
I run after Kyeongso, my heart aching at his slumped figure. "Kyeongso, wait!"
He turns back to me smiling. It isn't his usual flower boy smile, I can see the pain he tries to hide. He opens the door to his car looking at me. "Come on Kang, I'll drive you home. We have a lot to talk about anyways."
