Everyone went silent for a while, I couldn't believe my ears either. Kim Chohee never gives without motive so I know this isn't entirely out of kindness (that is, if it was to begin with)."W-wow I don't know what to say... thank you," Haru hesitantly says after a while. Jimin smiles in appreciation looking to Jungkook's girlfriend. "That's really cool of you, Chohee. She's definitely a keeper, Kook," he wiggles his eyes at Jungkook. His comment though meaningless makes me feel uncomfortable.
She smiles like the devil she really is while everyone else seems to love her. "Hope you guys will be there, it's this weekend since I know your holidays are starting already." As she says that she looks directly at me unnerving the fuck out of me. Jungkook seems to pick up on how I feel too, whispering something in her ear causing her eyes to light up before she starts getting ready to leave. I think to myself finally, until I see him getting ready to leave as well. My shoulders droop in disappointment but I guess it's the only way to get rid of her. "I think I'm gonna head off early, gotta make sure she gets back home safely," he rubs the back of his neck guiltily as he spares a glance at me. Everyone bids him farewell as he leaves.
"I'm sorry—" he quietly tells me as he walks past me to the door. "I know, just go," I dismiss him looking away. He waves goodbye to everyone, taking her hand as they get in her car.
"Are we not gonna talk about the elephant in the room?" Namjoon speaks up after they're gone. His words cause a rise in heartbeat, slowly entering panic mode. "H-huh?"
"We haven't had a good hangout without her stealing Jeon away in a while. But everytime she butts in she always has something up her sleeve," his jaw clenches.
Oh. I quietly heave a sigh of relief.
"Well the last time was free beer, now it's free hotel stay. She may be uninvited but you can't deny suga mommy material," Yoongi laughs. "I agree with Yoongi-hyung, she does suck up to us a little and she's actually a nice girl, so I'm in for whatever she wants with Jeon," Jimin speaks up.
"Not to mention sweet ass. Definitely a win for the king," Taehyung chimes in. I roll my eyes at his comment. She's the fucking devil incarnate.
"What did you say, Kang?" Haru peers up at me.
Shit, did I say that out loud?
"I didn't say anything."
She looks away hesitantly, switching back to Namjoon. "I agree I do think she's a little... possessive when it comes to Jungkook but she's really sweet and I feel bad if we don't try to at least accept her. She is our friend's girlfriend after all it's the least we can do. Let's just go for the staycation and see how everything goes."

I scramble to get my things together in the luggage. I've packed a few camis and jeans, hopefully it'll be enough for the trip. I wheel it out of my room and into my living room looking longingly at Kimchi. "Are you sure you're fine with this?"
Ahjumma waves me off, staying close to my beloved dog. "Don't worry she's got me while you're gone." I panic, zipping up my baggage hurriedly. "You know where her treats are? Remember she only eats chicken and salmon meat. Don't feed her grapes, don't feed her—"
"Yes yes I know, Byeol! Calm down I'm going to good take care of her. I know how much she means to you," she holds my shoulders together. "Don't worry about Kimchi. Now go have fun with your friends okay? You got everything? Toothbrush?"
I nod pouting. I'm really gonna miss Kimchi, I haven't taken a long break away from the house before. What if she has separation anxiety?
"Hurry up, Kang! You're taking too long," Jeon's irritated whiny voice resonates outside honking the car. I roll my eyes, hugging Ahjumma. "Your son is an idiot, but thank you for taking care of Kimchi for me."
She smiles her famous wrinkly smile at me, stepping out on the porch with me. I see him chatting up with his dad, hugging briefly before he gets into the car. "Say goodbye to your own mother, asshole," I point at him accusingly. He rolls his eyes at my childish behaviour, sheepishly looking away. "B-bye, mom..."
Jaejoon comes to my side and helps me put my luggage in the boot of Jungkook's car. "Take care of my son for me, I don't trust him with anyone else," he jokes. I laugh at the slight worry laced in his voice. "Of course I will, Jaejoon. Don't worry about it." With that I walk to the passenger side. "Oh before I forget. Byeol?" I hear him exclaim.
I turn behind, pushing the hair out of my face from the breeze. "Yes?"
"I hope he finds his happiness on this trip," he smiles mischievously. I shoot him a weird look at his cryptic message, but wave goodbye anyway and hop in.
