Weeks passed with no word from The Father. Meanwhile the brothers had gathered for their regular meeting regarding the running of the kingdom.

"Is there any other business we need to discuss?" Michael looked around the table at his brothers and his eyes landed on Lucifer who looked half asleep. "are we boring you brother?" Lucifer's head shot up.

"Not at all Michael.....please, do continue." He offered Michael a smirk. He might be tired, but he was always happy to annoy his uptight brother.

What he couldn't say was that he was having trouble sleeping ever since he had seen Lilith. Every time he closed his eyes, all he could see was her face. Numerous times he had to resist the urge to sneak into the palace so that he could see her again.

"Well, luckily for you, Lucifer it is-" Michael was interrupted by Gabriel's announcement:

"The Father has called for us."

"Very well, let us go." Commanded Michael. They all followed him out, with Lucifer trailing behind.

He knew it was time for them to train the humans and he had mixed emotions. He was so excited to see Lilith again and finally get to see her complete, even speak to her. At the same time he was so worried that someone would sense how he felt about her. It would be forbidden for anything to happen between them, but he couldn't help but wonder if she might feel the same way about him? He shook his head free of these thoughts as he followed his brothers into the palace. Uriel looked back at him.

"Are you sure you are okay, brother?" he asked in concern.

"I am fine." came Lucifer's sharp reply. Thankfully, Uriel asked no further questions.

They entered the throne room and saw The Father sat in his throne with Adam and Lilith stood either side of him.

She was just as beautiful as he remembered, but now she was complete he could not take his eyes off her. She wore a long flowing sheer robe, common for the angels, but it highlighted her figure to him. Angels were all lean muscle, their bodies almost angular in design, whilst she was short, curvy and soft. Perhaps the others might see it as a flaw, but to Lucifer, it was this that made her all the more beautiful.

Her face lit up in a welcoming smile and at the sight of it, he almost turned and fled from the palace there and then. He had no idea how he would keep his feelings for her secret.

The Father smiled and greeted the brothers.

"My children, meet Adam and Lilith." He stood and turned to the two humans. "These are my sons, Michael, Gabriel, Raphael, Uriel and Lucifer." Lucifer couldn't help but notice how Lilith's eyes lingered on him for longer than the others, or perhaps that was just wishful thinking on his part.

"It's so good to finally meet you all, I've heard so much about you!" That silvery voice, he could listen to her speak forever and never grow tired of it.

"It is our pleasure." said Michael as he took her hand, Lucifer tensed at their contact.

"My sons will be teaching you all the skills that you will need." Explained The Father. "Michael, you will take Adam first and teach him how to defend himself "

"Yes Father." Came Michael's reply.

"Will I be taught to defend myself as well?" Lilith piped up. Lucifer had to stifle a laugh at this, whilst the others looked on, shocked.

"Of course Lilith. You will both learn from all of the brothers." said The Father, smiling at her. "As you are so keen to learn I shall place you with Lucifer first. He has much knowledge to impart."
