The next morning Lilith stepped out of her room to find Gabriel standing right in front of her.

"Oh!" she gasped almost falling back, luckily Gabriel grabbed her just in time.

"I am sorry to have startled you Lilith. The Father would like to speak to you and Adam."

"Oh, okay. Do you know what it's about?" Gabriel smiled at her.

"The Father wants to give you both a going away present. You may want to hurry, you will need time to plan for tonight." Before she could ask anything further, Gabriel had disappeared.

Lilith stopped by Adam's room to let him know they had been summoned by The Father and they made their way to the throne room together.

When they entered, Lilith was surprised to see all of the brothers sat beside The Father's throne, including Lucifer.

"My children! I am so glad you are here. Please sit." Boomed The Father.

They both took a seat in front of the throne. Lilith made a point not to look in Lucifer's direction, but she could feel his eyes burning into her.

"Now, you will be leaving us tomorrow and I am so very proud of you both. You have picked up your lessons so well and I know that the world will be in safe hands." He looked between the two of us, pure love shining in his eyes. "Before you go, I want to celebrate what we have and are yet to achieve. Tonight we will hold a ball and the entire kingdom of Heaven will be invited." Adam grinned and sat forward, as Lilith managed a small smile.

"Wow, thank you Father!" He exclaimed, taking Lilith's hand. Due to her promise last night, she let him. Without thinking, she turned her head to see Lucifer sat there with anger clear on his face. She quickly turned her head back.

At that moment an angel Lilith had not seen before entered the room. The Father smiled at this angel.

"Ah, Evangeline, just on time as always! Would you be so kind as to take Lilith and have her fitted for a gown for this evening?" Lilith looked up into the face of the most beautiful woman she had ever seen. She was as tall and lean as the other angels, but unlike the brothers her features were much more feminine.

"Lilith, it is so good to finally meet you. Please do come with me." Lilith rose from her seat and began to follow Evangeline outside, not before noticing the filthy look that Evangeline shot Lucifer. He just turned his head away.

Once they were out of earshot of the throne room, Lilith broke the silence:

"Thank you for helping me. Do you usually have occasions such as this?"

"We have few, but this is a very special celebration. You and your Adam will be creating a new race."

"Yes...we will." Noticing Lilith's tone, Evangeline stopped and turned to her.

"You should be more excited Lilith, you have been given the most incredible opportunity." Lilith pasted a smile on her face and nodded.

"Of course.....I am just a little nervous, that is all."

Seeming to accept her answer, Evangeline nodded and they continued down the long hallway, stopping in front of a large blue door, Lilith had not seen before. Evangeline opened the door and Lilith gasped. It was filled with many different fabrics, in every single colour you could imagine.

"Wow, these are all so beautiful!"

"Thank you, this is a rather wonderful workshop I have. Now, lets find something for you to wear." Lilith eventually ended up picking a sky blue fabric for her gown. Evangeline handled it and smiled. "Very good choice."
