Two days later, Lillian found herself sat in her office, trying, but failing to concentrate on the accounts. The constant noise of drilling and banging was beginning to give her a headache.

"Hey!" shouted James over the noise, as he walked in.

"Hey yourself."

"You need a break Lils, let me take you over the road for a coffee. Emelie is keeping an eye on things."

"That sounds like a very good idea." said Lillian as she stood.

They ended up sat in the coffee shop across the road five minutes later. James took a sip of his coffee, before turning his attention to Lillian.

"How are you doing Lils? It's been a crazy few days."

"You can say that again.....I just want things back to normal." Lillian felt her eyes cloud with tears. "it just breaks my heart to think how Ria would feel about all of this. I can't help but feel that I've let her down." James moved closer and put an arm around her.

"She would be proud of you. You have done an amazing job with that club, it wasn't your fault that some dickhead messed it up as he couldn't take no for an answer." Tears flowed down her face and she rested her head on James' shoulder.

"Do you think showing up on her doorstep unannounced is such a good idea?" asked Uriel as he and Lucifer sat in the car outside the club.

"Of course, I will just say I've come to check up on the work." Lucifer opened the door and stepped out of the car, Uriel went to follow but Lucifer held out a hand. "I'll be okay on my own, brother." Uriel nodded and sat back.

"Good luck." Lucifer gave a sardonic smile, before shutting the door. Walking into the club in took in the noise and the chaos of the builders. Standing in the middle of it all was a woman that Lucifer did not recognise, but she obviously knew Michael as she shot daggers at him.

"Is Lillian here?" he asked walking up to the woman.

"No she's not." came her curt reply.

"Well, I need to speak to her...." she looked up at him for the first time.

"She isn't here and I don't know where she is. Now if you don't mind, Mr. Law, I am rather busy here." Lucifer clenched his fists and let out a breath to calm himself. He could have easily crushed this disrespectful woman, if only she knew what he was capable of. He had to remember that she was talking to Michael, not the king of Hell.

"Very well.....I shall leave you to it." he said through gritted teeth, but the woman had already turned away. He stormed out of the club and quite literally bumped into Uriel.

"How did it go?" he asked.

"She isn't here, instead I spoke to some insolent woman. If only she knew who I truly was, then no one would dare speak to me that way. If that happened in Hell, I would have ripped her spine in half." He ranted, but noticed Uriel wasn't even looking at him. "Are you even listening to me Uriel?" He turned to look at Lucifer with concern.

"I think I just found Lilith." Lucifer looked in the direction he was pointing and caught sight of her, sat in the cafe across the road, resting her head on a man's shoulder. The man had his arm around her. The rage on Lucifer's face was clear. "Lucifer.....don't even think about it."

"Who the fuck is that with her?!" he practically shouted. "I will kill anyone that touches her." He made to walk towards the cafe, but Uriel held him back.

"You cannot go in there like this, brother. You don't even know who it is, he could just be a friend." Lucifer felt the rage build inside of him. He had never felt an emotion so strongly before. That's when he realised what it was, it was jealously and it burnt inside of him. How dare that man touch her? She was his, only he should be able to touch her. Uriel moved in front of him, blocking his view.

"Lucifer, be careful...your eyes." Michael's blue eyes had turned red.

"I am going to kill him. I will rip him apart piece by piece." He fumed, but he made no move towards the cafe as his brother held him in place.

"Thanks James, I needed this. I had better get back to the club though." Lillian lifted her head and smiled at him. James stroked her face.

"Lillian, you know I care about you, don't you?" She moved away slightly and smiled.

"I know James, you're a good friend."

"Do you ever think of being more than friends? Maybe really making a go of it again?" he asked hopefully. Feeling uncomfortable with the direction of the conversation, Lillian stood.

"I'm sorry James, I've got to go." Lillian rushed out of the cafe, not even looking back.

She didn't mean to react so dramatically but she couldn't speak to him right now. She wasn't interested in anything more and had told him that before. She certainly did not need any more complications in her life.

So lost in her thoughts, she wasn't looking where she was going when she ran into something solid. "Shit, I'm sor-" her voice cut off as she looked up into the face of Michael Law. He held her arms to steady her and she felt her whole body come alive at his touch. "Michael....wh....what are you doing here?"

"I just came to check on the club....and you." his face was filled with concern. She still had not moved from his grip.

"Lillian.....is everything okay?" she heard James's voice from behind her. She had almost forgotten all about him.

"She's fine." came Michael's sharp reply. James couldn't help but shrink back from the look Michael was giving him. He must have been imagining it, but the man's eyes looked red for a split second.

"Are you sure you're okay....Lillian?" he asked again.

"I'm fine James, you go ahead." Without hesitating, James walked back to the club, casting glances behind him as he did. Lillian realised she was still being held by Michael so she took a step back. "Well, Mr. Law, the club is okay and I am fine....so you can go now."

"You don't look fine." Lillian let out a loud sigh.

"Seriously.....can people stop worrying so much, I am fine, I just need to get back and set up for opening weekend." she moved away, but Michael gently took her arm.

"About that.....any earnings you have missed out on, just let me know and I will reimburse you." he said. "I am so sorry again for what I did to you." Lillian looked at him in surprise. He really did sound sorry.

"So, why did you do it in the first place then?" she ripped her arm from his grip.

"I was a foolish man Lillian, but this accident.....well it changed me. I want to make up for what I have done."

"Men like you never change...goodbye Mr. Law." with that Lillian walked away and disappeared into the club. She was still shaken by her encounter with him. Why did she feel so drawn to this terrible man? It made no sense.

"Hey Lils, I just saw James stomp in, everything alright?" asked Emelie as Lillian walked across the floor.

"I'm fine Em, listen, I'm going to be in my office and I would rather not be disturbed okay?" Emelie nodded.

"Sure thing boss lady."

Once inside her office, Lillian closed and locked the door, then collapsed into her chair. She attempted to concentrate on the accounts and the club's lost earnings, but her mind kept wandering back to Michael .The way his touch felt on her skin and how his eyes seemed to look into her soul.

She couldn't help but think about how his hands would feel on her bare skin, how his lips would feel on hers. The way he would pin her down and take her as if she belonged to him. She felt the throb between her legs, just thinking of it. Then she did something she had never done in her office before. She slipped her hand inside of her underwear and began to stroke herself. She leant her head back, imagining Michael's fingers and tongue exploring her body. In her ecstasy as she found her release, she couldn't help but unknowingly moan his true name.

"Lucifer."
