Heba lay awake in her chambers. She was exhausted as she had been unable to sleep the night before, constantly feeling hot and cold, her whole body ached. She could not afford to be ill, she was the Pharaoh's tutor. She moaned as she stood from the bed, dizziness instantly overcoming her, she sat down heavily on the bed again.

Holding her head in her hands, waiting for the dizziness to pass, she heard a loud knock on her chamber door. Before she had time to answer, Cleopatra came striding in.

"Heba, why are you not up yet? It is time for our studies." she commanded, before looking at her with concern. "You look unwell, I will send my physician to see to you."

"Please do not worry my queen, I was feeling slightly unwell, but I shall be fine. I will meet you in the library in the moment, I apologise for my lateness." Cleopatra gave a curt nod.

"Very well, I shall see you in a moment." She turned and walked out without another word. Heba began to shakily dress herself, trying to ignore how her aching body felt.

A short time later, Heba and Cleopatra were sat in the library together, hunched over a parchment. Suddenly, Heba clutched her stomach and cried out in pain.

"Heba, what is wrong?" exclaimed Cleopatra as she stood from her chair.

"I.....I do not know..." With that, Heba fell to the floor in a dead faint.

"Guards!" Cried Cleopatra in a panic.

Lucifer sat upon his throne, partially listening to his first in command, Jophiel, update him on the state of his kingdom of Hell.

"My lord, is everything okay? You seem preoccupied." asked Jophiel in concern.

"I am fine, Jophiel. Now, do we have enough workers for the prison expansion?"

"We are a little short, but we can always use some of the new arrivals as labour."

"Very good, I trust you will be able to oversee it all."

"Of course my lord."

"Stop it with the "my lord" Jophiel, you are my brother."

"Well then brother, are you going to tell me what is going on? I feel like you have been somewhere else this entire time."

There was a short silence, until Lucifer broke it.

"It is the tree....it's finally calling to me."

"This is good news brother!" The smile on Jophiel's face was soon wiped off when he saw Lucifer's worried expression. "What is it? Surely this is a good thing?"

"I am afraid Jophiel. I am going there to watch her die...and I am no closer to finding a way to bring her back." Lucifer looked so crestfallen that Jophiel stepped forward and rested a hand on his shoulder.

"I promise you brother, we will find a way. For now....just be there for her, she still needs you." Lucifer nodded and gave Jophiel a sad smile. "Don't let her be alone."

Lucifer stood from his throne and embraced his brother.

"Thank you Jophiel...let the others know that I will be back soon." With that, Lucifer walked out of the throne room with a new purpose. Until he could bring her back, he would be there for the woman he loved.

A short while later, Lucifer stepped out from the other side of the apple tree. He found himself stood outside an elaborate palace. Looking down, he noticed he was dressed in physician's robes.
