Lillian couldn't stop smiling as she stepped off the stage. Her performance had earnt a standing ovation from a packed house.

"I'm so proud of you Lils!" exclaimed Emelie as she wrapped Lillian in a hug. Emelie was one of the club's best dancers and originally an apprentice of Lillian's. They now shared a close friendship.

"Thanks Em!" said Lillian, unable to hold back her grin. "I feel amazing, I can't believe I waited so long to get up there again."

"Ria would be so proud of you too." Emelie smiled and kissed Lillian on the cheek, who felt her eyes fill with tears.

"Thank you....now get out there and kill it." Emelie grinned and bounded off towards the stage. At that moment, one of the newest girl's, Kimberley, approached her.

"Um.....Miss. Jones?" she said nervously.

"How many times do I have to tell you Kim, it's Lillian. Now what's up?"

"Um, there's a man here who wants to talk to you. He said his name is Michael Law?" Lillian grimaced.

"Shit.....can you not get rid of him?" Before Kimberley could answer, a well spoken baritone voice came from behind Lillian.

"It's a little late for that Miss. Jones." Lillian turned around and looked up into the face of Michael Law. The man must have been at least 6"3 and built like a tank. The expensive looking three piece suit he wore fit him like a glove.

"Oh, Mr. Law, may I ask what you are doing here." Lillian was well aware that she was wearing next to nothing after her performance, but she would not let this man intimidate her. His eyes roamed over her body, before they snapped up to her face. As handsome as he was, there was something predatory in that look and it gave her the creeps.

"You are a very difficult woman to get hold of, Miss. Jones. So, I thought I would just come down myself. I would like to have a little chat about my offer."

Lillian wanted nothing less than to spend any more time with this man, but knowing what she did about him, he would not give up until he got a meeting with her.

"Very well, Kim could you please show Mr. Law to my office, I will get changed and join you shortly." His eyes roamed again.

"Please don't get changed on my account." Lillian gave him a tight smile, before walking away.

Michael watched Lillian as she walked away. The woman was older and more alternative looking than his usual type, but he figured if it could get him the club, he would take her to bed.

He followed the young woman to an office in the back, once he was situated, she scuttled off without another word. He smiled and leant back in the comfortable chair. This would be easy, women rarely, if ever, said no to him.

After 5 minutes, Lillian walked in and sat opposite him. "Sorry to have kept you waiting, Mr. King."

"That's quite alright Miss. Jones. I may be a busy man, but I practice patience" He leant forward in his chair, practically devouring her with his eyes. "Now, my secretary called you a couple of days ago telling you about my offer for your club."

"She did, but I will stop you there Mr. King-"

"Please, call me Michael."

"Michael.....my club is not for sale. Not to you, not to anyone." Michael was quiet for a moment., before speaking up.

"Lillian-"

"I would prefer Miss. Jones." He smiled, but it did not reach his eyes.

"Miss. Jones....I can see that you are barely breaking even here, I would be doing you a favour." He took a piece of paper from his pocket and slid it over to her. "I would even be willing to offer you a little extra."

"Mr. Law, it doesn't matter how much you offer me, my club is not for sale." Lillian kept her voice even, but she was running out of patience.

Michael leant over the desk and placed his hand on top of hers.

"Miss. Jones, people very rarely say no to me.....I can certainly make it worth your while." There was that predatory look again, Lilith practically snatched her hand away.

"I have met many men like you over the years, Mr. Law. Men that think they can get whatever they want due to their money and good looks...normally they do." Lillian had leant forward this time, her anger clear. "But do you know what I see when I look at you?"

"Please illuminate me, Miss. Jones."

"You are nothing but a spoilt little boy Mr. Law, but I am here to tell you that you will not be getting what you want this time. Your charm will not work with me, so we are done here." She noticed his rage as he stood up, towering over her.

"How dare you speak as if you know me!" he raged. "You have made a very big mistake here today Miss. Jones." Lillian also stood, his large frame dwarfed her, but she would not back down.

"I will not be threatened in my own club."

"It is not a threat Miss Jones, it's a promise.....I always get what I want." Before she could reply, he stormed out, slamming the door behind him.

Exhausted, Lillian fell back into her chair. She had heard all of the rumours about Michael Law. He did not play fair and he had links to some very bad people. Taking him on was a bad idea, but she would not be swayed, she would never give up on what Ria had built.

By the time Michael got into his car, he was seething. How dare that stuck up bitch turn him down?! He would make her regret it. That damn club was the only thing standing in the way of his renovation of the area and the luxury apartments which would make him an even richer man. The voice of his PA, Tara, cut through his thoughts. He had almost forgotten she had been waiting in the car for him.

"Mr. King, are you okay?"

Was he okay? He had people say far worse to him, but he always brushed it off. Lillian had really hit a nerve with him and what she had said. He took a deep breath and forced a smile.

"I am fine, I just need to make a call." He picked up his phone and dialled a number. "Yes, your services are needed......the same amount as always, yes......just some light intimidation, I shall send you the address." He hung up and started the car, looking over at Tara, he smiled. "Much better now."

"Perhaps I can make you feel even better?" she said as she ran her hand up his leg and Michael grinned.

"You really are a good girl aren't you?"

By the time they had made it onto the motorway, Michael was fully enjoying Tara's oral skills "Fuck, I'm close babe."

He felt on top of the world, driving his perfect car with his perfect PA giving him head. The only problem he had would soon be taken care of....life was good. He felt his orgasm coming and took his eyes off the road for a moment to look down at Tara's head moving up and down. "Fuck, babe, yes!"

It all happened so quickly. The car swerved into the other lane and in his panic to correct it, they ended up facing the wrong way, before the lorry could slow down, it slammed into them at 60 mph. The last thing Michael remembered was the car flipping over and Tara's screams, before everything went black.
