Never underestimate desperate people.
You never know how far they will go to get what they want.

I knew but I refused to listen to what my mind was telling me.

I think I could say that I was weak. I am weak to believe in lies for almost half of my life. And weak to accept the wrong in the next half. I sometimes wonder if that happened for a purpose. Perhaps, it happened so that my eyes would be opened to something far more worst than I could imagine.

"You should resign, Jin," Yoongi said as he drove Jin to the airport.

Jin just scoffed at his best friend. "It's already in the palm of my hand. I will not waste this opportunity."

"He rejected you. Not once but twice. It's a sign that he is a loyal husband. Don't invest too many emotions in an illicit affair. " Yoongi wanted to make a U-turn but he could not say no to his best friend.

"There's no affair yet, may I just remind you. And how did you know that he is a loyal husband? I can assure you that I will go home next week with him going crazy for me."

Yoongi, even without looking, knew that Jin had a wicked smile on his face just by the tone of his voice. "I already warned you, Jin and I will say this again, I'm not tolerating you to do things like that. You are a mature 20-year-old man, you should know what is right and wrong. I cannot imagine that your infatuation will end in this. I thought it was just your normal crush-like feelings and will go away."

Jin's gaze went to Yoongi whose eyes were fixed on the road. "If you don't want to tolerate me doing things like these, then why don't you go to Taehyung's husband and tell him that Taehyung's assistant is flirting with his husband? You can't right? You can't and you will not do that."

Yoongi bit his lower lip. He was trying not to argue with Jin. Knowing Jin, he knew that he couldn't win. No matter how right he might be, it was just, Jin should always be right.

Yoongi already saw Taehyung talking on the phone when they arrived at the private jet tarmac. Jin removed the seatbelt and fixed his bag.

As soon as they stopped meters away from Taehyung, Yoongi held Jin's elbow that made Jin look back at him. "Jin, please, don't do something ridiculous. I know what's in your mind and it's just so wrong. Please listen to me this time. I know I teased you once regarding this but it doesn't mean I approve of it or am in favor of this. Stop it, it will create a big mess and you will end up broken. Be professional. You can find love in another way, not like this."

Jin stared at Yoongi. He could feel the concern in Yoongi's voice. He was like a brother and he knew that he only wanted the best for him. But there's something in him that made him want to do this. "Since you know what's inside my mind then you can tell by now that it is indeed ridiculous. Look, I cannot promise you anything. Like what I've said, if you're feeling guilty, go to his husband and tell him the deal. Now, if you want me to be happy, you will let me. You don't know what's going on in my head. I promise you, you won't like it. You're too good to be true and I'm sorry because I am not. But let me tell you this, you need someone like me in your life, Yoongi."

Jin winked at Yoongi and kissed him on the cheek, causing Yoongi to shake his head. "Jin, I trust you."

Jin smiled. "Yes, you should trust me. You should trust me in this. See you next week meow meow. I will miss you."

Yoongi helped Jin unload his things and stared at his best friend with a burden in his eyes. He wanted to stop Jin. He argued with him the first time Jin mentioned that he would go out of the country with Taehyung. He reminded him that it's wrong to have an affair with a married man. But Jin seemed determined. He sometimes wondered if he still knew Jin or if he already missed out on something. Jin used to listen to him, but lately, Jin had been acting weird.

Jin went back to hug Yoongi. "I'm sorry Yoongi. Please don't worry about me. I know what I am doing. Just trust me, okay?"

Yoongi did not say anything. He just pulled the luggage bags and gave Jin a tight hug. "Take care. Call me if you need anything. I love you."

Jin closed his eyes, his hand gripped Yoongi's shirt. "I love you. I'm sorry. Please don't worry about me, okay? I know what I'm doing."

Yoongi glanced at Taehyung before going back inside his car and driving away.

Taehyung kept on glancing at Jin who was busy watching drama on his iPad. He wanted to ask something, but he thought he might be disturbing Jin.

"You want to say something?" Jin puts a piece of chips between his lips, then moves it in with his tongue. And it did not pass  Taehyung's eyes. He noticed that Jin could do things extremely noticeable and sexy. Jin himself had been already striking, but his moves added more to that.

"I just want to ask my earliest schedule," Taehyung looked flustered by the way Jin stared at him. "I know you're busy watching that's why I don't want to disturb you."

A dark smile tugged at Jin's lips. He knew that Taehyung wanted to ask about Yoongi but perhaps, asking him would just make the situation more awkward than it already was. "You have a dinner meeting with Attorney Hughes at 7 p.m. tomorrow. We will arrive at the airport in the morning so you have time to rest the whole day."

Jin noticed that Taehyung had the habit of licking his lower lip before biting on it. And his subject did it again. "I see. The way you talk, it seemed like you have no plan to rest?"

Jin turned off his iPad to face his boss. "I don't. I want to take a walk around the area. It's not often that I get to a place for free so take the opportunity."

"I know you mentioned to me that the guy with you at the bar is your best friend. It's a bit dark that night, is he the same one who drove you to the airport?"

Jin bobbed his head and rested his chin in his hand. "Yes. That's Yoongi. Min Yoongi. You're a businessman, so I guess you know his family."

Taehyung narrowed his eyes. "Yeah, I know the Min family. I didn't know that he is your boyfriend."

A mirthless laugh came out of Jin's lips. He couldn't believe that a 41-year-old man was still lame when it comes to flirting. "I'm sorry Mr. Kim but Yoongi is not a boyfriend. He is more than a friend to me. He's like my big brother. Our fathers were best friends. When my father died, he's the one who looks and still looking after me. I can't blame people mistaken us as boyfriends. I mean, truthfully, we will do anything for each other. We both have a fucked up life. Wait, don't tell me you're jealous?"

Taehyung's eyes, fringed with thick lashes, slipped Jin a curious glance. They were amused and surprised at the same time. "Is there a reason to be jealous, Seokjin?"

Jin took in Taehyung's stares, giving back a come-hither look. He tilted his chair and pulled the blanket over his body. "I'm sure there isn't. Your bedroom is ready at the back of the plane Mr. Kim. Have a nice sleep."

Jin turned his back on Taehyung as he lays down to sleep. A wicked smile danced on his lips. His body is aching for his boss. He wanted him badly and he vowed that he will not come back home without Taehyung wrapped around his fingers.
