You heave out a silent sigh as you slowly walk out of your room, clutching your bag tightly to avoid making any sound.

"So you think you can go to work with a fever?" You freeze and you don't dare to turn around, instead you make a run for it.

"Oikawa! Catch (Y/N), she's about to run outside!" Iwaizumi yells, running after you as you run as fast as you can to the door. Oikawa runs out of the shower with only a towel wrapped around his lower half, holding it tightly as he makes his way to you.You finally make it to the shoe rack, searching for your heels and when you find them you open the door.

"I knew it, you would come to work sick." A male says and you look up, it's Kuroo.

"Don't be so hard headed (Y/N), come on." You sigh in defeat, pouting to your boss in hopes the he would be swayed and he would reconsider.

"But Kuroo—"

"No, you can't." He sternly says, holding you by the shoulders as he pushes you inside causing you to frown.

"Thank God you caught her." Iwaizumi sighs in relief.

"Why can't you let me go to work, it's just a fever anyways. I can handle myself." You sulkily say, pout present on your lips as you make your way back in.

"Handle myself, my ass." Iwaizumi snickers. You roll your eyes at them all, and Kuroo sees this all. He raises his brow at your unusual behaviour, wanting to tone your cockiness down.

"You know if you keep pouting I might just end up kissing you." Kuroo abruptly says with a smirk. Your eyes widen when you realize what he had just said, cheeks instantly heat up as you feel your blood rush to your head.

"H— hey! That's n— not okay." You stammer and he laughs, placing his hand on your shoulder as he pushes you to the table.

"At least eat breakfast, you barely intake anything and if you don't: I'll call Atsumu to spoon feed you." He threatens as he takes his seat. You quickly take yours, not wanting to let your cousin come through and spoon feed you like a baby.

"What about your discussion with TK's creative production team?" You ask, changing the topic.

"I moved it. I can't go to the meeting without my secretary, ya' know?" He ever so casually says with faux accent dripping from his tone.

"Don't attempt to do the Kensai Dialect, you're going to end up like Atsumu." You scoff at him, eyes lazing darting towards his. Upon meeting your eyes, he smiles, placing his hand on your hair and ruffling it.

"So are we going to disregard the food in front of you two?" Oikawa interrupts, crossing his arms in front of his chest as he eyes you two.

"Thank you for the food."

"A what?"

"A child. It seems to be young and he kinda looks like Tsukishima." Kita describes to the woman in-front of him. In contrary to Kita's standoffish demeanour, Yachi looks like she had just eaten a chili or something so silencing to the point where her eyes are emitting fire with her breathing tattered.

"You go—"

"I'm not good! That kid needs to be out of our fucking way! Or else I won't get Kei to love me!" She yells causing Kita to let out a frustrated sigh.

"Are you that fucking desperate?! He doesn't love you! And he never will!" Kita yells out.

"Well it's the same with you! Why are you still fucking chasing her when she doesn't even see you as a potential lover just a brother!" Yachi yells back.
