"Ha?!"

"You heard the kid (Y/N), you're staying with me here." Kuroo says causing your eyes to widen. Tsukishima's expression turns baffled in disbelief, his eyes widening with his lips threaten to fall agape.

"I don't think leaving mama with Kuroo-nii is something appropriate Keiko." Tsukishima intercedes, trying to somewhat persuade the child to alter his choices. However, instead of even remotely thinking about it, a pout form on the small blond's lips.

"But I often see Kuroo-nii and mama together often, like how parents are supposed to be!" Keiko says with a pout, making your eyes twitch. Tsukishima's brow arises and Kuroo grins. To Tsukishima, that doesn't sound right at all. It sounds like a bunch of needles being dragged on a chalkboard.

"Like a lot, a lot?" Tsukishima asks, and Keiko nods. Your blood runs cold, the feeling of betrayal rouses from you. The fact that your child had just practically exposed you to your ex-fiancé almost feels like you've been betrayed.

"You know what, I'm going to pack Keiko's things. He should stay with you until tomorrow, and until then will I discuss some things with you." You awkwardly say to avoid a longer conversation. While Keiko smiles with stars in his eyes.

Albeit a bit irritated, Tsukishima still manages to muster a smile at the thought of Keiko staying with him. After years of separation and uncertainty, he finally is having a full day with his child.

"I'll be back. Keiko, sweetheart, do you want to pick out your clothes?" You ask the small child. He nods, and Tsukishima places him down to the ground to follow closely behind you.

"I've never seen you so jealous before Tsukishima. Remember what you told me? That she merely is just your ex-fiancée?" Kuroo evokes the blond man as soon as you and the child leave his line of sight.

"Just because she's my ex-fiancée doesn't mean that I've given up on her, rooster head." Tsukishima is quick to retort causing the onyx man raise a brow and smirk.

"I thought you and your secretary got married, what happened to that?" Kuroo provocatively asks. The abrupt question causes the blond to grow agitated. Without even thinking about it, Tsukishima acts out of impulse and suddenly grabs the latter by his collar, prying him upwards.

"Why so defensive? I thought she was worth it. After all, you left (Y/N) for her. Or was she just a good fuck?" Despite being in a pinch, Kuroo still draws his chances and provokes him some more. Tsukishima, on the other hand feels his blood boil with every word that leaves past the latter's lips. His fists clench on the collar of the man while his other hand is balled up, threatening to punch the fellow on the jaw.

"Were you that horny that you left your beautiful fiancée just for a good fuck? I mean, just imagine her crying on the bed, doesn't that hurt? Or are you just that dumb and selfish?" And as quick as that, Kuroo slowly grows agitated at the blonde as his fists clench as well, tempted to hit the younger.

"Why are you pissed off? Are you mad that everything I'm saying is true?" Kuroo says with a pissed smirk. The blond only scoffs at the older man with a deadly look present in his eyes.

"Listen here Kuroo, I don't care about what happened in the past. What matters is what's happening now and what's bound to happen in the future." Tsukishima grits, letting go of Kuroo's collar and allowing himself to calm down. He can't argue with what Kuroo said, it's a justified fact, there's no way he could argue with it.

"Isn't it really funny how one mistake can break years worth of trust?" Kuroo snickers, patting down his now creased collar.

"I'm all ready papa!" A small voice interjects before Tsukishima can let out his words that hang on the tip of his tongue.

"He still has a small fever so don't make him eat any sweets tonight and check his temperature every hour. If it goes higher than 37.5° there are fever pads that you should place on his forehead. His bed time will be at seven, and he usually wakes up early so make sure you're ready for that. When he wakes up make sure to brush his teeth and give him a warm breakfast after then wipe his body with warm water okay? Don't shower him. If he cries at midnight: his dinosaur plushie is in his bag, and make sure to cuddle him before you fall asleep." You give him fully detailed instructions, clearly a bit tense with the situation. Why wouldn't you be worried? This is the first time you're sending him away without Iwaizumi or Oikawa.
