Not Without You - A Stucky Fanfic

Chapter Eight

"Bucky, there is no easy way to tell you this" Natasha told Bucky as he looked at her with worry.

"Tell me what?" He asked. Bucky started to breath heavily, heart racing as he didn't know what could have possible happened. Steve could be dead for all he knew.

Natasha took a deep breath and explained, "Steve sort of got kidnapped a week ago and we haven't been able to find him."

"Is he... is he dead?"

"We don't know. We were hoping you might know who took him so we could narrow down the search since we don't know" Natasha admitted.

"Someone to do with Hydra most likely. Zemo could be the one behind this" Bucky replied, he couldn't believe that Steve got taken, and God knows what has happened to him.

Dr. Strange spoke up, "not to ruin the moment, but I'm going to open a portal so we can do this back at the tower with everyone else."

The others nodded and thanked T'Challa as Dr. Strange opened the portal to get back to the tower.

They all hopped in and Strange closed the portal, they all joined the rest of the avengers at the table.

Tony, Bruce, Wanda, Vision, and Clint were there. Then they had Scott, Sam, Rhodey, Peter, and Thor was back from Asgard. Nat, Strange, and Bucky all walked and took a seat at the table and they all began to work on all the information Bucky could give them.

A couple hours later, Tony finally find a Hydra base that wasn't destroyed. "Guys I think I got something! And this time it looks promising!" Tony announced with happiness that was noticeable in his tone.

They all waited for Tony to swipe it up so they could all see what he found.  He put it up so everyone can see and the Avengers all looked at the coordinates to the abandoned warehouse and began to prepare their attack plan. Without cap there, it felt completely different without him saying the calls of what to do. Frankly, Tony and the others missed him.

The came up with a plan and went to gear up to fly the jet three hours away from the tower. Natasha hates that they were so close, yet so far and they could've gotten Steve days ago.

They all boarded the Quinjet and took off, Bucky was nervous because this was the first time he'd see Steve out of the cryo and he didn't know what to expect.

Three hours later, the Avengers arrived in a field next to the abandoned warehouse, careful not to attract too much attention. They all exit the jet and Tony speaks, "everyone ready? Everyone got their earpiece and everyone knows the plan?"

"Yes,I think we got it" Natasha says, speaking for everyone.

They all start running and flying to the three story warehouse. The top floor- the third floor- is taken by Vision, Tony, Rhodey, and Sam. The floor below it- second floor- Wanda, Peter, Thor and Scott who takes a ride on Thor take the second floor through the windows. And the first floor is taken by the runners Nat, Clint, Bucky, And Dr. Strange, they go through the doors at either side of the building. Bruce stays back to make sure no one comes to the jet and is there if needed.

The Avengers start to infiltrate the building, Tony makes a hole in the wall with the laser and his squad goes into the building. There are five guys up on the top floor, Tony blasts the first guy and gets the other four guards attention. Rhodey blasts the dudes while vision uses his stone to laser them while Sam checks other rooms making sure it's clear. Sam yells, "clear!"

As soon as Tony knows that the men are dead or unconscious he speaks through the earpiece saying, "top floor is clear, moving down to second level Wanda."
