Months passed, Steve and Bucky were still going strong. Tony still flirted at Steve but all of Steve's attention was to Bucky. They still hadn't told anyone, so they always made out, cuddled, and held one another in one of their rooms in private, mainly Steve's.

It was thanksgiving and Nat, Steve, and Wanda were in the kitchen making the food for their friends for later. The trio was cooking when Nat spoke up, "so Rogers, what's the deal with you and Bucky?"

Steve froze, he knew he wasn't good at lying but he had to figure something to tell them. "Nothing. Ever since he got shot we just have gotten closer lately" he half lied, they did get closer, just more than what they think.

"You still haven't confessed to him yet?" Nat asked him, making the dough for the pie crust.

Bucky was about to walk into the kitchen until he heard Steve start to talk, so he hid behind the wall. "No I haven't confessed Nat, you didn't live in a world where you'd go to jail or get killed for liking the other gender. I love him, but I can't tell him, not yet" Steve explained. Bucky smiles behind the wall, listening intently.

"How do you exactly feel about him, Steve?" Wanda questioned in a heavy Sokovian accent.

"I look into his blue eyes like they're the oceans waves crashing against one another and it immediately calms me, like there's nothing else in the world. When Bucky smiles, it lights up an entire room and if I'm the one he's smiling at, there's no greater feeling, it warms my heart seeing him happy. When he doesn't get his way or he's upset and he starts to pout, it makes my heart melt and immediately makes me want to fix whatever happened. I'm in love with him, there's no other way to put it. I looked up to him as a kid, he was my hero and he was my only friend, when I had nothing I had Bucky. Whenever someone mentions his name, I suddenly feel like I'm a 16 year old boy from Brooklyn again. Yes, he has a fragile heart, always has, but I want to be the one to heal and make it whole, I want to be able to have him forever and he's the only person I have ever wanted" Steve confesses, returning back to rubbing the turkey in butter and seasonings to add flavor.

"That is so adorable, Steve" Nat and Wanda cooed, looking at Steve with sappy eyes.

Steve started to blush finishing up the turkey and putting it in the oven to then get started on the cranberries.

Meanwhile, Bucky was still behind the wall smiling like a love struck idiot. Steve actually loved him, he didn't have anything to be worried about, even if he wasn't ready to say the three words, he knew Steve would be there, right?

Instead of walking in on Wanda, Nat, and Steve's conversation, he walked back to his room to go workout before he had to be back up here for dinner.

He changed into workout clothes and headed down to the training/gym area and started his workout in peace.

Everyone was gathering around the large dinning table with the food spread out around on it. The table set, the avengers sat down next to one another, chatter filling the joyful room as Steve comes in and sets the turkey in the middle, already cut and ready to be served to the huge group.

T'Challa and Shuri came to New York for Thanksgiving, Thor, Sam, Rhodey, Scott, Hope, and Peter came. Then Stephen, Vision, Wanda, Nat, Tony, Bruce, Bucky, Clint, and Steve were there since they live in the tower.

They all prayed said "Amen" and began to dig into the abundant amount of food Wanda, Nat, and Steve made, some dishes brought by Thor and Scott to add to the amount.

They were eating when Peter started to speak. "Hey.. um Mr. Steve? Captain America sir? Can you help me with my next History essay?" Peter asked shakily, wondering if he overstepped his boundaries.
